Madison Wendel, 5-11 2024, Coldwater
She had a great month of December, most recently three big games to close out the month. She is averaging ten points per game in the last couple of weeks, and is a forward who is both an inside/outside threat. She has a great midrange shot and can step out behind the arc and score. Versatile to play a post position with the capability to bring a guard down and post her up when she plays at the wing. Runs the floor well and finishes and look for her stock to go even higher. Great compliment to 6-3 sophomore Riley Rismiller Riley Rismiller 6'3" | C Coldwater | 2023 State OH .
Alyvia Lindeman, 5-6 2024, Delphos Jefferson
Rising guard with a good month of December, she is averaging close to 20 points per game with a season high 27 last month. The team is 8-2 overall and she has been a huge part of their success. She has a good basketball IQ with solid handles and she is a good shooter from the perimeter. She is a coaches kid and is very coachable, learning every night she takes the floor. She is a name for coaches to remember going forward.
Sierra Brinson, 5-9 2024, New Lebanon Dixie
This freshman has also stepped onto the big stage and has done some nice things last month to put herself on the local map. She plays post for the Greyhounds and is averaging 14.5 points, 11 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game, all three of those stats place her among the top three in her conference. She has 6 double-doubles already this year. While she is a bit undersized for a post, she is strong and skilled.
Olivia Thompson, 5-6 2023, Camden Preble Shawnee
She was featured in an earlier story, but she ended up having a great month for the Arrows. The guard can handle the ball well and works well with returning all-area guard Campbell Jewel in the backcourt. She can get to the rim and can play through contact, not afraid to mix it up in the paint. Uses her body well to create and finish. Can also score from the perimeter with good range. The night I saw her, both her and Jewel had 20 in a tough loss. Good future for Liv.
Esther Bolon, 5-10 2021, Lima Bath
Playing for one of the most traditionally successful programs in Ohio, she has shown a lot of improvement on her three-point game and is one of the top shooters in her conference after a good month of December. She has also improved her defensive play and is a solid rebounder. A key component to an 8-0 start for the Wildkittens.
