Below is a list of players in the Class of 2024 who are having impressive passing performances this season. Each one of these players bring a high level of playmaking to their given teams.
Keyah Strop | River Falls | 5’5
Strop is averaging 8 points per game and has been essential in helping this team run the offense. She’s comfortable handling the ball and has a good eye for finding her teammates open while being heavily defended. She keeps her head high and utilizes her dribble moves to create space and make the effective pass. This season she is averaging 3 assists per game. She’s been consistent in finding her teammates open. In a win over Menomonie she dished out 4 assists.
Patricia Weiss | Brookfield Academy | 5’5
Weiss stepped into the lead guard position and is doing phenomenal on both ends of the floor. She has fantastic decision-making within the offense and works well with her teammates to find the open shot. She has great versatility on offense as well and is unpredictable on offense so often can make the highlight pass as opponents guard her for the shot. She is averaging a little over 3 assists per game and dished out 7 assists in a 52-49 win over University School.
Addison Pytleski Addison Pytleski 5'9" | CG Green Bay Southwest | 2024 State WI | Green Bay Southwest | 5’7
Pytleski has been a key player for her team this season. She’s been able to step up and contribute big minutes and some huge baskets for this team. She’s been consistent in scoring and has hit some big three point shots. In a win over Manitowoc Lincoln the freshman was impressive all across the board. She scored a season-high 11 points and went 2-2 from the free throw line. She’s proven to be a talented playmaker as well. She is averaging 4 assists per game.
Gracie Gopalan Gracie Gopalan 5'4" | PG Waupun | 2024 State WI | Waupun | 5’0
Gopalan is a key playmaker with a high ceiling for setting the tone on offense. She’s a heads up guard with a terrific feel for the game. She already has the handle and shot creating ability to be an impact prospect in the years to come. She is well developed fundamentally and has her head on a swivel at all times. She can handle the ball with either hand, and she can also finish in the lane. She’s fantastic in transition because she makes the accurate lead pass. This season she is averaging nearly 4 assists per game. In a win over Campbellsport she dished out 7 assists.
Caitlyn Weyker | Ozaukee | 5’7
Weyker has been good all across the board this season. She can score, pass and rebound the basketball well at her position. She is averaging nearly 8 points per game and scored 14 points in a win over Hilbert. She’s also been an outstanding defender grabbing multiple steals per game. She clearly has a high ceiling as her feel for the game is already elite and comfortable. She’s patient and precise in her passing- often waiting for the thread the needle-like pass. This season she is averaging over 3 assists per game with over 38 total on the season.
Mary Stroebel | Cedarburg | 5’7
Stoebel has been a huge spark for this Cedarburg team on both ends of the floor. Offensively she has a lot of talent and has put up impressive numbers this season. She’s averaging 10 points per game and has breakout performances like her 24 point game against Kaukauna and 20 in a 57-51 victory over Nicolet. She’s been able to work well alongside her teammates and find them open within the offense and when breaking the press break. She’s an up tempo guard that can go coast to coast and dish effectively to the open man. While averaging 3 assists per game, Stroebel dished out 6 assists in her team’s 60-48 victory over West Bend East.
