Amanda Heusterberg | Shoreland Lutheran | 6’0 F
Heuster was a key contributor in Friday’s win over Racine St. Catherines. She’s a versatile forward who can step outside and knock down the three point shot. She’s patient and composed on both ends of the floor. She finished well inside and on the boards. The forward scored 11 points in the 64-44 victory.
McKayla Paulkner | Sauk Prairie | 5’9 G
Paulkner was essential in Thursday’s win over Dodgeville. She’s an athletic and patient guard who always makes the right read. She has great size on the floor and intimidates teams with her confidence when scoring the basketball. She does not shy away from contact and is a consistent scoring threat for this team. In a win over Dodgeville she led her team in scoring with 17 points.
Claire Bjorge Claire Bjorge 5'8" | CG De Pere | 2024 State WI | De Pere | 5’7 G
The combo guard has been a major part of the offense this season. She’s put up impressive numbers as a freshman and has worked well alongside one of the top juniors in the state. Bjorge is effective off the dribble and moves well without the ball. She has shown glimpses of being a floor general in the way she found her teammates open. In a huge win over Ashwaubenon, Bjorge scored 10 points. On Saturday, Bjorge also put up huge numbers in a game against Green Bay Southwest. She scored 35 points and dropped 5 three point baskets.
Nevaeh Thompson Nevaeh Thompson 5'11" | SF Waukesha South | 2024 WI | Waukesha West | 5’10 F
Thompson had a breakout game on Friday and showed a glimpse of what we can expect from her in the next four years. A fierce forward who uses her body extremely well inside, Thompson’s ceiling is high. She has defense footwork to be able to guard much taller than she is. She was relentless on the boards and got up and down the floor well in transition. In a 73-52 on Friday against Catholic Memorial, Thompson finished with 14 points.
Ally Timm Ally Timm 5'11" | SG DSHA | 2024 State WI | DSHA | 5’10 W
Timm is an active player who gets after it on both ends of the floor. She has impressive positional height and utilizes her length well. Defensively her hands are up and she has speed to guard the lead guard position. Offensively she can score at all three levels and is a very confident athlete. Timm’s perimeter shot is smooth and precise. In Friday’s matchup against a top Germantown team, Timm scored a team high 12 points.
Kayl Petersen Kayl Petersen 6'1" | PF Waupun | 2024 State WI | Waupun | 6’0 SF
Petersen is a highly athletic forward with tremendous upside. She is a phenomenal rebounder with shot blocking potential. She is quick for her size, and she can often beat defenders to the rim. She also has handles to create a shot in the midrange. In the win over Berlin, Petersen finished with 21 points for her team. She hit 3 shots from behind the arc and shot 9-13 from the floor. Petersen holds an offer from UW Green Bay.
Kennedy Holmes Kennedy Holmes 5'8" | CG DSHA | 2024 TX | DSHA | 5’8 PG
Holmes is off to a fantastic start as a freshman playing on this talented squad. She’s been a primary playmaker on offense and a key facilitator. She finds her teammates open and moves the ball with a very high IQ. She has impressive leadership skills already and it shows by the way she controls the tempo on the floor. She’s able to get her shot off as well and knocked down a lot of free throws in the game against Germantown. She finished with 10 points for DSHA.
Gracie Grzesk Gracie Grzesk 6'0" | SF Green Bay Notre Dame | 2024 State WI | Notre Dame | 5’11 W
The wing is an all around athlete that can score at all three levels. She has the length to be an asset on the block put is comfortable handling the ball and attacking from the perimeter. She has a smooth shot and makes very good shot selections within the offense. She is averaging 13 points per game this season. She doesn’t force anything and works very well alongside some high level talent. In her team’s 64-39 win over Kaukauna, there was a lot of pressure on the wing. Constantly being guarded with high pressure or double teams, Grzesk was able to power through and scored 7 points.
Jadynn Gruner | Baraboo | 6’0 F
Gruner had an impressive performance in her win this week over Portage. The forward does well using her body inside the lane and is an offensive rebounding specialist. She has the footwork and confidence to hold off almost anyone on the floor. She works well with her guards helping them create a shot and is always ready for the dish off at the rim. She finished with 8 points in the win over Portage.
Alayna Feidt | Fox Valley Lutheran | 6’0 F
Feidt is a dominant post player with a lot of upside for this Fox Valley Lutheran team. She’s strong with great positional height to do some damage against teams this season. A rebounding specialist, Feidts ability to control the glass is so impressive. In her team’s 61-43 win over Waupaca, she grabbed 11 rebounds and scored 12 points.
