A week ago we posted an article on freshmen who are expected to have a major impact on Varsity. Here are some top players who performed well in their debut on Varsity.

Dean scored in a variety of ways for BC.

Abigail DeanAbigailDean5'6" | CGBoulder Creek | 2024StateAZ (Boulder Creek) – Dean scored 29 points in Boulder Creek’s win over Liberty. Dean was 5-7 from the 3 point line and 12-17 overall in FGs. She also had 4 assists and 4 steals in her debut. Terrific start to a promising season.

Ysabel PuenteYsabelPuente5'7" | CGSunrise Mountain | 2024StateAZ (Sunrise Mountain) – Puente scored 17 points and provided the spark as Sunrise Mountain pulled away from Centennial in the 2nd quarter. Sunrise Mountain 79, Centennial 34.

Meisha CaserioMeishaCaserio5'4" | PGGilbert | 2024StateAZ (Gilbert) – Caserio scored 16 points and dished out 6 assists as she took over the PG duties for the Tigers. She also recored 3 steals in Gilbert’s win over Centennial.

Aniyah RiddellAniyahRiddell5'10" | PFDesert Vista | 2024StateAZ (Mountain Pointe) – Riddell tallied 16 points and was a major force down low for the Pride in Mountain Pointe’s victory over Queen Creek.
