Below is a list of the current prospects leading their teams in passing in the Class of 2022. Each one of these players have proven to be impact facilitators.
Kara Sowinski | Three Lakes | 5’6 G
The Three Lakes does everything right for her team. She can score the basketball, rebound and defend. She’s been able to put up consistent numbers for her team on offensive and can knock down the three point shot. Sowinski however, is a passing machine. Her ability to see the floor and find her teammates open is impressive. She’s able to handle pressure with her dribbling abilities which has helped her become a key facilitator. She is averaging nearly 7 assists per game. In a win over Florence, Sowinski dished out a season-high 13 assists.
Annika Patrick | Northwood | 5’5 G
The Northwood junior has been an impact floor general. She communicates incredibly well and is a clear leader on the court. She pushes the tempo and seems comfortable playing in a fast paced offensive set. This is where she shines in her distributing the basketball- in transition play- she has an eye for making the long pass. She also does well making the bounce pass inside to her forward. She is averaging 5 assists per game and dished out 8 assists in a win over Clayton.
Leah Lemke Leah Lemke 5'8" | PG Wrightstown | 2022 State WI | Wrightstown | 5’8 G
The Wrightstown standout has really stepped up to be a key impact guard for her team. She pushes the tempo, plays with so much speed and seems to have a tremendous basketball IQ. She’s been able to score the ball at a high level with consistency this season, averaging 20 points per game. With so much offensive pressure on her she’s been able to drive and dish to her open teammates. She is averaging nearly 6 assists per game. In a win over Clintonville, Lemke finished with 9 assists.
Mckenzie Leccia | Somerset | 5’9 F
Leccia stands out in this group because she is primarily in the lane on the block. She plays with strength and size. She’s able to score offensively and is relentless on the offensive boards. She finishes strong and has been the key scorer for this team. As a post player- her ability to find her teammates open on the perimeter is extremely impressive. She does well making the skip pass to her open guards behind the arc. She is averaging nearly 6 assists per game and dished out 10 assists in a win over New Richmond.
Jayden Hill | Kenosha St. Joseph | 5’8 G
Hill has always had a scorers mentality for Kenosha St. Joseph. She’s been the go-to scorer each time she steps on the floor. She is averaging 18 points per game this season. Her ability to attack the lane and finish against contact is so difficult to defend. She’s smart but patient, a great thing for prospects to have. This translates directly into her ability to find her teammates open. She doesn’t force anything but takes her time and lets the offense flow. She finds her teammates open exactly as they are ready to shoot. She is averaging 5 assists per game. In a win over St. Thomas More, Hill dished out 6 assists.
