She is the first D1 girls basketball player to ever come out of Kent City.
Bowers has long been considered an elite talent in the state of Michigan. That being said, what she has accomplished over her high school basketball career has been miraculous. She’s in the process of demolishing the record for total points and 3 pointers made. These records were already surpassed in her junior season. It’s easy to see that Bowers is one of the best and most pure shooters in the state. But her game is so much more than that. She’s a steady and heady floor general that keeps her teammates involved and finds them in scoring positions. Bowers is an underestimated rebounder from the perimeter as well.
