The Queen of the GHSA has won exactly 30 games in every single season, amassing a 96-4 record over the course of her career, undefeated in the state of Georgia with three state titles. The best player on the best team, Raven Johnson Raven Johnson 5'10" | PG Westlake | 2021 State #20 Nation GA has to be a virtual lock for the award this year. Johnson’s numbers don’t explode off the screen because they don’t have to. Johnson typically plays only half the game in blowouts and doesn’t need to pad her stats. The five-star South Carolina-signee is averaging 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 3.2 steals. Johnson does everything imaginable on the floor. She is a superstar with her poise, polish and pedigree.

Last year’s Gatorade Player of the Year for Georgia, the South Carolina-signee is averaging 17 points, 11.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 3.1 steals and 5.5 blocks. Feagin is a terrific athlete that is a matchup problem with her quickness and improving outside shot. She can simply outjump others for rebounds and can swat shots without fouling. She is a dominant force when she wants to be and still has her best basketball ahead of her.

Kara Dunn Kara Dunn 6'0" | SF Mt. Paran Christian | 2022 State #70 Nation GA is a budding superstar. She averaged over 28 points per game last week as she guided Mt. Paran to Top 10 win after Top 10 win. She poured in 41 points and 10 rebounds against Brookwood but more impressive than her scoring binge was her IQ and elite court vision. Dunn is as smart as they come, able to take over games without forcing anything on offense. She gets everyone involved and is a true do-everything standout. Dunn’s final season averages will open a lot of eyes across the nation. Dunn is a High Major no-brainer.
2021 6-5 F Jillian Hollingshead Jillian Hollingshead 6'4" | PF McEachern | 2021 State #17 Nation GA – McEachern
The future Georgia Bulldog is hitting her stride at her new home. A two-time defending state champion at Holy Innocents’, Hollingshead is putting up 17 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.6 blocks per game at McEachern. Jillian has the skill to play on the perimeter, able to hit the three and beat her man off the dribble. Inside, she’s one of the state’s best shot blockers.

The most consistent piece on what looks to be the best team in Georgia outside of Westlake, Sacha Washington Sacha Washington 6'2" | PF Collins Hill | 2021 State #62 Nation GA has been a battery ram inside. She a relentless rebounder that uses her strength to her advantage. On post touches she can power her shoulders through defenders’ chests and score through them. When needed, she can space the floor and take her man off the dribble, but the vast majority of her production comes in the paint. The Purdue-signee is a walking double-double.

Statistically speaking, Keyarah Berry Keyarah Berry 5'10" | SF Rockmart | 2021 State GA is the most dominant offensive force in the state of Georgia since Kayla McPherson Kayla McPherson 5'7" | CG Madison County | 2021 State #13 Nation GA tore her ACL. Berry is pouring in 35.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.3 steals. The Indiana-signee gets her offense in transition, lunging for steals then racing down for layups. No one will outjump her or beat her in a footrace. Berry is shooting 61 percent from the field, but she can do more than just score inside. Berry has deep range from three and can pull whenever she sees fit. She’s 24-65 (37%) from three. Berry is the compete package offensively and is a dark horse to win the award.

As unstoppable as they come, Florida State-signee Makayla Timpson Makayla Timpson 6'3" | PF Early County | 2021 State #56 Nation GA is a beast in South Georgia. Posting 29.8 points, 14.3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.5 steals and 4.5 blocks, this could finally be the year the Bobcats get over the hump. Timpson is an elite shot blocker with a feathery touch in the paint. She scores overtop defenders and converts everything within 10-feet. Early County has a chance to win every game they play as long as Timpson is on the floor. Her production is reminiscent of South Carolina’s Victaria Saxton when she played in Class 2A.
