Let’s debate!
16. Abby Antognoli, St. Rose: Antognoli was the third option on a loaded St. Rose team last season. Now, she is the unquestioned leader of a team that will surprise some people. The Lafayette commit, who had a exceptional summer, is in the conversation for the state’s best point guard.
17. Hannah Hidalgo Hannah Hidalgo 5'7" | PG Paul VI | 2023 State NJ , Paul VI: Paul VI surprised last season and the reason why was the play of Hidalgo, who takes no plays off. She’s a terror on the defensive end of the floor, applying ball pressure and turning steals into easy scoring opportunities. She’s also a three-point threat.
18. Zanai Jones Zanai Jones 5'5" | PG Hudson Catholic | 2021 State NJ , Hudson Catholic: The Villanova commit is a stat-sheet stuffer. She takes – and usually makes – every big shot for Hudson Catholic. She always sticks the opposing team’s best guard, she leads her team in steals, points and assists. Basically, she does it all.
19. Katie Hill Katie Hill 6'0" | SF St. John Vianney | 2021 State NJ , St. John Vianney: Madison St. Rose Madison St. Rose 5'10" | PG St. John Vianney | 2022 State #65 Nation NJ gets the headlines, but the Richmond-bound Hill is the glue that holds it all together for SJV. Her 5-11 frame allows her to bang under the boards and defend post players, but her handle and shooting ability rival that of most guards. She does whatever is needed to get the W.
20. Ally Carman Ally Carman 6'5" | C Red Bank Catholic | 2022 State NJ , Red Bank Catholic: The center is in great shape and ready to improve on a season that saw her establish herself as one of the top post players in the state. The Boston College commit, who stands at 6-5, is crafty around the rim.
