2021 5-7 PG Kierstyn Milner – Spalding
The senior leader for Spalding showed flashes throughout the Jaguars’ 55-34 loss to West Forsyth. Kierstyn Milner, a lefty, is quick with the ball in her hands. She attacks with her left hand and can sneak her way into the paint. Milner is active. You can find her crashing the glass, setting up teammates and earning steals. She tallied 12 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals on Saturday.
2024 5-10 PG Tianna Thompson Tianna Thompson 5'10" | PG Galloway | 2024 State GA – Galloway
The future is extremely bright for Tianna Thompson Tianna Thompson 5'10" | PG Galloway | 2024 State GA , who looks like a future D-I guard. Thompson has an uncanny feel for the game. The wiry playmaker can make things happen off the dribble and with the pass. Her court vision and ability to thread the needle are outstanding. Even though she looks light in stature, Thompson has the functional strength to finish through contact. She converted a late And-1 with 20.8 seconds left to double the Scots’ lead. Tianna got the job done on defense as well. With her wingspan she can cover a ton of ground and frustrates ball handlers with her defensive instincts. Thompson finished with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 steals and 1 block, guiding Galloway to a 60-54 win over Grovetown. Expect to hear her name a ton over the next four years.
2023 5-9 SG Allison Hoffmann – Galloway
Only a sophomore, Allison Hoffmann looks the part of a collegiate sharpshooter. Hoffman has a strong body that helps her when driving to the hoop but it’s her quick trigger that is elite. Hoffmann can get her shot off with limited time and space. She hit pull-up threes in transition and burned Grovetown for four three-pointers, three in the third quarter that turned a 3-point halftime deficit into a 9-point lead going into the fourth. Hoffmann posted 16 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.
2023 5-10 W Kyla Cain Kyla Cain 5'11" | SF Galloway | 2023 State GA – Galloway
It was a sluggish first half at times for Kyla Cain Kyla Cain 5'11" | SF Galloway | 2023 State GA , but when she turned it on, everything clicked for Galloway. Cain scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half and added 2 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 1 block. Her energy on defense sparked the Scots. Cain plays an aggressive style, collecting steals in the press and then getting to the hoop on offense with strong drives. Cain is a well-built wing with plenty of muscle and is capable of playing inside and out. She’s a matchup problem with how she can handle the ball and distribute off the dribble. Defensively, she guards 1-5 for the Scots.
2021 5-9 G Jada Porter – Grovetown
Jada Porter has transformed into the number one scoring option for the Warriors. She did everything she could to lead a comeback in the fourth quarter, scoring 8 of her game-high 18 points in the frame before running out of time and losing 60-54 to Galloway. Porter has great length on the perimeter and knows how to get to the basket. When her outside shot is on, she’s that much harder to stop. Porter is effective in the press and is a valuable rebounder.
