What’s your New Year resolution? Will it be a cliché like “New Year, New Me?” or “I’m going to eat healthier?” I can guarantee these teams want to start the New Year off in the right direction. Here’s a look at the PGH Dakota Top 10 Team Rankings through week 4 of play.
Class AA
- Sioux Falls Washington 3-0 SF Washington’s last game was a thrashing at Yankton. Their next opponent will be Watertown
- Brandon Valley 4-1 The Lynx are coming off a loss to Mitchell, not how they wanted to start the new year.
- O’Gorman 4-1 O’G started off as the #1 Ranked team but a lost to Brandon Valley moved them down. A second matchup with Sioux Falls Roosevelt at the Sanford Pentagon awaits them this week.
- Harrisburg 7-0 The Tigers of Harrisburg are peaking at the right moment. They are handling teams on their way to a 6-0 record.
- Aberdeen Central 4-0 Aberdeen is coming off an overtime win against Grand Forks (ND). This week they will travel to Rapid City to play both Central and Stevens. Road Warriors!!

Class A
- Thomas More 6-0 The Cavaliers are on cruise control. However, a big time matchup against Sioux Falls Washington awaits them this Friday.
- West Central 5-1 A buzzer beating loss from Whit River is the Trojans lone lost on the year.
- Winner 6-1 After their winning streak of 59 games was snapped, the Warriors bounce right back. They are looking forward to the end result
- Hamlin 4-1 Hamlin has been steady through the first ¼ of the season.
- Tea Area 4-1 Tea Area is looking like one of the better offensively talented teams in the state.

Class B
- Corsica-Stickley 6-0 The Jags sit a top of the Class B Rankings.
- Castlewood 5-0 Castlewood is coming of a big victory against Class Flandreau
- White River 5-0 Caelyn Valandra-Prue Caelyn Valandra-Prue 5'10" | PG White River | 2021 State SD knocked in a buzzer beater at the Corn Palace to keep White River undefeated.
- Viborg-Hurley 7-0 The Cougars have some senior leading the way. They are off to an impressive start.
- Ethan 4-0 The Rustler are in first place in Region #4. They are in a solid and really competitive Region.
