Sydni Summers Sydni Summers 5'4" | CG Corona Centennial HS | 2023 State CA s- 2023, 5’6”, Guard, #0, Centennial High School (Corona, CA)
Sydni Summers Sydni Summers 5'4" | CG Corona Centennial HS | 2023 State CA s of Centennial High School in Corona, CA is a super athletic basketball player. She is currently ranked at #8 for the class of 2023 on MaxPreps. Sydni is quick, competitive, aggressive, and skilled. She is a phenomenal ball-handler and does really well with creating plays off the dribble. Summers also does quite well at finishing off the dribble, and she can do that with pressure on her. Sydni averaged 10.3 PPG and scored a total of 331 points during the 2019-2020 season. She also averaged 2.6 RPG, 1.5 APG, and 1.4 SPG. Summers also averaged 67% from the free-throw line. She was definitely a standout during her freshman season. She helped lead her team to a 9-0 league record! I believe her tenacity and high basketball IQ will definitely improve during her sophomore season. Even though she scores a decent amount during each game, I think that she can improve on her assists, rebounds, and steals averages. Gabriella Jaquez- 2022, 5’11”, Guard, #11, Camarillo High School (Camarillo, CA)
Gabriella Jaquez of Camarillo High School in Camarillo, CA is an absolute beast on the court. She is a dominant force on the boards, she is unstoppable. She makes very few mistakes when she is under the basket, with and without the ball. When she has the ball under the basket, she can create many opportunities for herself to score. Gabriella is very aggressive under the basket, her opponents have a hard time guarding her when she is trying to score on the block. Gabriella averaged 20.3 PPG during her sophomore season and scored a total of 569 points during the 2019-2020 season. Gabriella averaged 1.6 APG, 13.3 RPG, and 3.2 SPG. She also had a 41% field-goal percentage and averaged 73% from the free-throw line. Like I said before, Gabriella dominates the boards on offense and defense. You can see that she really has a special ability around the board. She accumulates more rebounds during a game more than most other players I have seen. Rebounds are extremely important, it can help regain possession for your team. The fact that Gabriella gets more than 10 a game is outstanding. Gabriella is one of the fastest, most skilled dribbler, and smartest players out there in Southern California.
Alyssa Kubo- 2022, 5’4”, PG & SG, #12, Esperanza High School (Anaheim, CA)
Alyssa Kubo of Esperanza High School in Anaheim, CA is a jampacked, talented individual. First off, she has one of the best shooting forms I have seen. Her three-pointers are always on point, her shooting form is phenomenal. She definitely practices outside of gameplay and puts in the extra effort to perfect her shooting form. Kubo can shoot the lights out with her quick shooting. Alyssa also has exceptional dribbling abilities, she can use her quickness to dribble past an opponent. Kubo averaged 13.7 PPG and scored a total of 383 points during her sophomore season. Not only that, she averaged 3.8 RPG, 2.6 SPG, and 2.1 APG. She also averaged 40% from the three-point line, and 68% from the free-throw line. Alyssa helped her team achieve a 25-4 overall record, and a 6-0 league record. She has great moves down low, even though she isn’t the tallest player she can create opportunities for herself. This just goes to show that you can be small, but be skilled enough to go against any opponent. I am confident that Alyssa Kubo will go above and beyond during her Junior season.
Hannah Stines Hannah Stines 5'9" | SG Troy HS | 2022 State CA – 2022, 5’10”, PG & SG, #1, Troy High School (Fullerton, CA)
Hannah Stines Hannah Stines 5'9" | SG Troy HS | 2022 State CA of Troy High School in Fullerton, CA is an unstoppable player. She is always on the move, on offense and defense. Her lankiness is definitely a great asset she has. It allows her to make great steals, and have a great arc on her jump shot. Stines is unstoppable and plays with such simplicity. Stines never makes anything look complicated. Hannah’s ball-handling is smooth and precise. Stines averaged 13.3 PPG and scored a total of 438 points during her sophomore season. Her shooting abilities are what make her a great player. She can shoot from anywhere on the court. Stines is great at creating space and shooting a 12 footer. Hannah averaged 3.4 APG, 5.4 RPG, and 2.8 SPG. Stines had a 41% field-goal percentage and also averaged 71% from the free-throw line. Stine has helped her team achieve a 23-10 overall league record, and a successful 10-0 league record. That just goes to show how good of a shooter Hannah is. Hannah is an all-around great player, she is skilled in every aspect of the game.
