Mia Davis Mia Davis 6'0" | SG Dream City Christian | 2023 State #12 Nation AZ : a 6-0 shooting guard for Xavier Prep, Mia can do it all and is considered one of the top 15 players in the nation. She averaged 9.8 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, 1.8 steals per game, and 1.2 assists per game last year. Mia is an athletic guard who is consistent with her mid-range jumper and a three-point threat. She is also physical off the dribble, a finisher in traffic as well as a consistent foul shooter.
Mia was ‘Player of the Game’ on four separate occasions during the 2019-2020 season. In one game, against Horizon, Mia had 21 points and nine rebounds. Her philosophy: “Besides personal success, I want to change the game of women’s basketball. I want equal opportunities for future women athletes and I want to be a great representative of a hard-working female athlete.”
Miyah Verse Miyah Verse 6'0" | SF Mountain Ridge | 2023 State AZ : is a 6-0 shooting guard/forward for Arizona Elite Prep. Last winter, in her first playoff game as a freshman, she poured in 28 points in a 63-28 win over rival Coconino. Myah competes in the 4A Grand Canyon Section. She also plays point forward for Arizona Elite Prep;
Her previous coach at Flagstaff, Tyron Johnson, had this to say after her first playoff game. “Her evolution just needs to continue and, hopefully, you will see something special from her as the months and years go on. After all, she is only a sophomore.”
Reilly Clark Reilly Clark 5'10" | CG Catalina Foothills | 2023 State AZ : is a 5-10 guard who plays for Eric Nelson at Catalina Foothills High School. Now a sophomore, she will be an elite prospect before she graduates. Reilly has great length for a guard, moves well, and has an efficient jump shot.
As a freshman she averaged 15.4 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, 1.6 assists per game, and 2.3 steals per game. Reilly shot 50% from the floor and 74% from the foul line. She made the All-Underclassman Southern Arizona team as a freshman.
Kaitlyn Elsholz Kaitlyn Elsholz 5'11" | CG Sandra Day | 2023 State AZ : is a 5-10 shooting guard for Cactus Shadows High School in Cave Creek. Playing meaningful minutes as a freshman, Kaitlyn averaged six points and five rebounds per game. Last winter, the Falcons had winning streaks of 10 and 13 games and finished 26-4. Cactus Shadows lost in the semi-finals of the state tournament.
Kaitlyn also plays for the Lady Nelson team and was the MVP of a summer tournament in 2020. As a freshman, she made honorable mention all-region and showed leadership, poise, a great attitude as well as respect for both her coaches and teammates. On three different occasions last winter, she was named ‘Player of the Game.’ She has good size, is a physical player, and has a great understanding of the game. Kaitlyn also made honorable mention for the All-Academic team, carrying a weighted GPA of 3.5.
Sienna Cherwinski Sienna Cherwinski 5'7" | PG Xavier Prep | 2023 State AZ : is a 5-6 guard who also plays for Xavier Prep. She is considered one of the top point guards in the class of 2023 and last winter averaged 8.5 points per game, 2.3 rebounds per game, 2.2 assists per game, and 2.1 steals per game. Sienna had a career-high 20 points against Basha. She shot 40% from the floor and 85% from the foul line and also plays for AZ Select.
Sienna possesses a nice mid-range jumper and three-ball and is an outstanding ballhandler. “My goal is to work hard enough to put myself in a position to have college choices to choose from,” she says. “I want to find the school that is the best situation for me, both academically and athletically.” Her mother is from Colombia and Sienna is bilingual, having become fluent in Spanish.
