This player could be someone who gets their team in the offense, a dynamic scorer, an enforcer on defense, or an effective communicator. More than anything, they are the catalyst, the person that helps make their team go. In Rutherford Co., there are a few young ladies who carry the torch for their school. This deep talented pool of girls makes this county one of the strongest in the state. Every game is a battle, yet these girls are always ready to take charge.
Acacia Hayes Acacia Hayes 5'7" | PG Riverdale | 2022 State TN (Riverdale High School)– The last of the Hayes sisters, this incredible young lady has multiple D1 offers. This swiss army knife can do it all. From slashing to the hoop to pulling up for the 3, Acacia provides Riverdale an edge in any game due to her ability to attack from multiple areas on the floor.
TK Goff (Riverdale High School)– This Martin Methodist commit is quick. TK can get to the bucket and change speeds in a flash. She is a defensive enforcer who can help shut down the opponent’s best player.
Iyanna Moore (Blackman High School)– Add this Vanderbilt commit to the list of Blackman High School greats. Iyanna is a dual-threat player who contributes on both ends of the floor. This phenomenal young lady is one of the hardest to guard. Not only can she put the ball on the floor, but she can also pull up from any spot on the court.
Victoria Page Victoria Page 5'8" | CG Blackman | 2021 State TN (Blackman High School)– This Dartmouth commit embodies the word selfless. Victoria is a dynamic player who helps her team compete in multiple ways. From the defensive end to the offensive side, Tori will always have her hand in the success of the team.
Faith Anderson (Rockvale High School)– The “Little Engine” that could. This dynamic Birmingham Southern commit is the heartbeat of her team. Faith is very shifty and can get to the hoop with ease. She has the ability to deliver the ball to her teammates on time, all the while helping her team on defense.
Claira McGowan Claira McGowan 5'7" | SG Oakland | 2021 State TN (Oakland High School)– This Murray State commit will surely bring something special to the Lady Racers program. Claira possesses an all-around game, that gives her team an advantage every night. She contributes to the Oakland program in many ways. She is a multi-threat scorer, who can easily bring a double-double any night of the week.
Zyion Shannon Zyion Shannon 5'7" | CG Stewart's Creek | 2022 State TN (Stewarts Creek)– One of the special athletes in her class, this dynamic player has a smooth shot and a knack for the ball. Zyion has the ability to score in many ways, providing her team yet another threat on the offensive end. On the defensive side, she possesses the ability to anticipate and jump passing lanes.
Kamaria Hurse Kamaria Hurse 5'7" | CG Stewarts Creek | 2021 State TN (Stewarts Creek)– Maybe small in stature, but a ball of energy. Kamaria can get to the hoop, but most importantly has a great IQ for the game. She sees the floor well on O, but also can pressure the ball on D. She plays the game with great energy, which can make a long night for any opponent she is guarding.

AZ Bell (Siegel High School) – AZ is slowly coming into her own as she navigates the rigors of this Rutherford County district. AZ is a competitor that has the heart of a lion. She possesses great ball-handling skills and can create to get to the hoop at a moment’s notice.
Autumn Davis Autumn Davis 5'4" | PG MTCS | 2023 State TN (Middle Tennessee Christian School)– This ball of fire transferred into the MTCS family. Due to TSSAA rules, she has to sit out this year. Coming from public school to the private school sector, she is sure to give coaches fits for the next couple of years. Don’t let her size fool you either. Autumn has a high basketball IQ and embodies the word team. She can score, get her teammates the ball on time, and put it in the hoop. She can pick her opponent up full court, making it a long night for the opposing girl.
