This is the second in a series looking at top unsigned talent by position. As stated before, statistics are primarily drawn from MaxPreps and KC High School Hoops. Other credible and transparent sources may be drawn upon as well. Without further adieu, the wings and small forwards.

, 5’9″, Wichita Heights, Wheat State Elite – Randle has earned her share of accolades in the past two years. She followed up her 2019 Kansas Basketball Coaches Association 5A honorable mention selection with the same honors in 2020 but in the 6A classification. She also is a two-time Wichita City League first team selection. MAYB Summer Kickoff (June 2020) – Sense and ability to dribble out of trouble in the back court. Long limbs and quick hands. Randle has a all-around strong game. Physically she has strength, length, agility, and speed. Her offensive game extends to the three point line and is a solid passer in the high-low game. A good mid-range shooter, she has the athleticism to play on the top of the press and elevate well on shots and rebounds. What makes her among the cream of the class crop is her consistency and her feel for the game. She does a lot of things well and does them all the time. Her feel is at a level that is innate.
#29 Aleshia Jones Aleshia Jones 5'8" | CG Leavenworth | 2021 State KS , 5’8″, Leavenworth, KC Next Level Eclipse Bluestar – Jones is arguably one of the most unknown, strong players around. The two-time United Kansas Conference first team selection was the Conference’s 2019 player of the year. She has good length, is fast with the ball, has strong handles, and can flat out play.
#48 Natalie Payne Natalie Payne 5'9" | SF Shawnee Mission South | 2021 State KS , 5’9″, Shawnee Mission South, Kansas Elite – How Payne was left off Sunflower League all-league teams in 2020 is beyond me. She was an honorable mention selection in 2019. According to Coach Mark Western, she is averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 points per game. Payne has a great motor, defends on the perimeter and inside with quickness and physicality, and has good end-to-end speed with the ball. She finishes with strength and physicality, is tough, has a quick mid-range jumper, and is active on both ends of the floor.

– Klinge is described as a great teammate who can shoot-it well in the 15′-18′ range. She is also a strong rebounder who plays hard on both ends, is very athletic, and can score around the basket. Notable also is Klinge holds the school record in the 400. She was a KBCA 6A honorable mention and Eastern Kansas League second team selection in 2020.

She also earned KBCA 4A honorable mention honors after earning the same at the 3A level in 2019. She is regarded as a strong perimeter shooter who gets her shot off quickly and competes well inside for rebounds.
#59 Katelyn Kennedy Katelyn Kennedy 5'7" | CG Wichita Southeast | 2021 State KS , 5’7″, Wichita Southeast, Midwest Elite – Kennedy has a reputation for being a strong perimeter defender. She also is an athletic three point shooter. The Derby transfer was a Ark Valley Chisholm Trail Div I honorable mention selection in 2020.

, 5’10”, Waverly, Wheat State Elite – A 2020 KBCA 1A honorable mention selection, McWilliams also is a two-time first team Lyon County League honoree. Athletic and quick enough to run the point on presses she also has handles to look off defenders on a rim attack, protect the ball when scoring over a defender, and handle in the open and half court.
#74 Haley Thrush Haley Thrush PF Rose Hill | 2021 State KS , 5’9″, Rose Hill – Thrush is a physically strong, three sport athlete who earned AVCTL Div IV first team honors in 2020. She has quick hands, can go end-to-end with speed and finish with contact, is active around the paint with good interior handles, and is very court aware.

, 5’8″, Hillsboro, KS Dream Team – 2020 KBCA 2A honorable mention and Central Kansas League first team selection gained valuable championship experience at the 2A state volleyball tournament this past fall. Werth is very athletic. She is quick to attack the basket attack from both sides, is a three point threat, slashes well to catch and finish in the lane, and elevates well on the shot. A solid defender on the interior and the wing.
#103 Chevelle Ralstin Chevelle Ralstin 5'7" | CG Elkhart | 2021 State KS , 5’8″, Elkhart, Western Kansas Elite – Ralstin is currently averaging 12.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.2 steals. The 2020 KBCA 2A honorable mention and Hi-Plains League first team selection has good strength and is very physical aggressive inside on both ends of the floor. She finds ways to score and otherwise plays bigger than she is, making very good use of her body and the glass to finish.
