Katelyn Richards Katelyn Richards 6'0" | C Coahulla Creek | 2021 State GA provides a physical presence on the low block. The Shorter-signee is a solid post scorer that can overpower defenders with a strong drop step. She does a good job walling up defensively, putting her arms straight up, able to block shots without fouling. Richards brings with her a hardhat mentality on the glass that should help her earn minutes early in her collegiate career.
2023 5-8 W Brinkley Kate Reed – Coahulla Creek
Every good team has specific roles. For Brinkley Kate Reed, her job is to provide energy and fly all over the floor. Reed is an effort player. She finds herself in the right place at the right time thanks to her motor. She can slash to the basket, score layups up close and has a quick release from the outside. Her activity on the boards and in passing lanes helps the Colts eliminate second chances and force turnovers.
2021 5-9 W Jillian Poe – Coahulla Creek
The southpaw is a lethal three-point shooter that floats along the perimeter and is always ready to catch and fire. She drained three threes in Coahulla Creek’s 61-58 win over Gilmer County. Poe is a veteran player with nice size on the wing. She’s able to use her length to defend on the perimeter and in the paint when contesting shots.
2021 5-0 PG Lindsay Bowman – Sonoraville
Lindsay Bowman is often the smallest player on the floor but that doesn’t hold her back from doing her job. She’s a floor general that does the little things. The Shorter-signee has a quick first step and a reliable three-point shot. On defense she’s extremely active, bouncy on the balls of her feet willing to swipe at ball handlers. Her effort was exemplified on a chase down close out on a fast break, getting in front to eliminate a clean look for three which eventually led to a turnover as Bowman flew around the perimeter to apply ball pressure. Her heady play and energy help make up for what she lacks in height.

2023 5-7 G Callie Gaddis – Sequoyah
For a young player sometimes the speed of the game can take a while to get used to. For Callie Gaddis, she had no issue being in the right place at the right time and serving as a leader for the Chiefs. Gaddis made a positive impact whenever she was on the floor. She does the little things like rotating defensively, rebounding and hitting layups. What stood out the most was her vocal leadership whether on the bench or on the floor; Gaddis was always talking and communicating like a good teammate should.
