2021 Rankings: Top Centers
1) 6’3 C Faith Bergstrom Faith Bergstrom 6'3" | C Camas | 2021 State WA out of Camas High School has steadily developed and earned her way to the top spot. Length, rebounding and soft touch around the hoop at 6’3 makes her the favorite. She is signed to Cal Poly.
2) 6’2 C Katie Thiers Katie Thiers 6'2" | C Roosevelt | 2021 State WA from Roosevelt High School is a strong and physical post out of Seattle that rebounds and alter shots really well. She can finish with either hand and is a fundamentally sound player. Thiers signed to Princeton.
3) 6’2 Katie Peneueta Katie Peneueta 6'2" | C Heritage | 2021 State WA from Heritage High School in Southern Washington checks in at number three. The future student-athlete of Air Force is a strong, physical presence in the paint as a throwback post player. She sets hard screens and plays her role really well on the floor.
Top Unsigned Centers
A pair of 6’4 Centers that are reportedly still uncommitted are looming in Washington’s 2021 class. 6’4 Sharayah Johnson Sharayah Johnson 6'4" | C Lincoln | 2021 State WA and 6’4 Charity Hines Charity Hines 6'4" | C Steilacoom | 2021 State WA are both big, strong and physical posts that can definitely provide size and post presence for a college program.
Division 3 Commit
6’3 C Samantha Skaggs Samantha Skaggs 6'3" | C King's | 2021 State WA from King’s High School is headed to Division 3 Linfield College in Oregon. Skaggs is a steal for Linfield as a lefty post with good size, length and soft touch finishing in the paint.
