Let’s take a look at five stat-sheet stuffers through the first few weeks of the season.
Alexis Davis Alexis Davis 6'0" | SF Woodbury | 2023 State NJ , Glassboro: Davis has been sensational for 4-1 Glassboro. The sophomore has racked up five double-doubles to open the season. She is averaging 30.4 points per game and 17.6 rebounds per game. Davis is also averaging 3.2 blocks per game and 3.6 steals per game. Her season-high in rebounds (20) came against Wildwood, and a career-high in points (41) took place in a win over Penns Grove.
Destiny Adams Destiny Adams 6'3" | SF Manchester | 2021 State #26 Nation NJ , Manchester Township: Adams has lived up to all her hype thus far. The North Carolina commit has put up some jaw-dropping numbers in Manchester Township’s 5-1 start. She is averaging 27.8 points per game and has been a force inside. The senior has averaged 16.7 rebounds and has a double-double in every game thus far. She also had a seven-block performance and has been an all-around threat, making steals, getting teammates involved and getting to the foul line.
Diamonique Williams, Shabazz: Williams is averaging 14.2 points per game and 16.2 rebounds per game for Shabazz. She has four double-doubles through five games. Williams had 15 rebounds apiece against West Side, Glen Ridge and Weequahic. She totaled 17 rebounds against Montclair and 19 boards in a meeting with Belleville.
Tyonna Bailey Tyonna Bailey 5'10" | CG Montclair Immaculate | 2023 State NJ , Morris Catholic: Bailey is averaging 21.3 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game in Morris Catholic’s 3-0 start. She is coming off a 29-point, 11-rebound performance against Hanover Park.
Maddie Gore Maddie Gore 5'11" | PF Newton | 2021 State NJ , Newton: Gore is having a quality senior season with 19.4 points per game and 12.1 rebounds per game. She has six double-doubles in seven games. She has shown the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter, as she had seven 3-pointers on the way to a 25-point outing against Kittatinny. Gore totaled 22 points, 18 rebounds, four blocks and six steals against Wallkill Valley in the season opener. One of her top performances came against High Point, where she had 32 points, 19 rebounds and eight assists.
