Nevaeh Farmer: The 5’4 point guard from North Mecklenburg high school is not disappointing in her 2nd season. She is stuffing the stat sheet and getting it done on both ends of the floor. She can score it in bunches, dishes it out to her teammates, steals it from the other team, and despite her size she is crashing the boards. Her shooting capabilities are there, she has the mid-range and deep ball. She does whatever it takes to help her team win. A good floor leader, good teammate, and appears to be very coachable. Keep an eye on this one for the next 2.5 years. She plays AAU for the NC Lady Ballers organization.
Kirsten Lewis: The 5’8 small forward from Lake Norman Charter school is really making a name for herself. She has good size already, moves well with and without the ball in her hands, and runs the floor extremely well. She sets up backdoor cuts for herself, runs the floor in transition for easy buckets or put backs from missed shots. She gets into the paint with ease, she has a pro-hop, and euro-step in her repertoire already. Scoring in double-digits in most of their games this season, grabbing 2 double-doubles already, and creating 4+ steals in all games played. Without a doubt one of the players to keep up with in the conference. She plays AAU for the FBC Charlotte Elite organization.
Samyah Suffern: The 5’9 guard from Mallard Creek high school is coming off an awesome freshman season. She is another player who really can stuff a stat sheet. She shoots the 3 ball, gets into the paint, she loves sharing the ball with her teammates, and grabs plenty of rebounds. She also is a pretty good defender on ball or off, creating plays for herself and her team. She is a leader and plays hard baseline to baseline. If you have not seen her play yet, you really are missing out. She plays AAU for the Team Curry organization.
Jael Poole: The 5’6 guard from North Mecklenburg high school is a long, and tremendous athlete. She looks longer than 5’6, closer to 5’9 with her long arms. She wreaks havoc on defense, causing deflections, steals, and just a good defender all around. Her quickness gets her into the paint with ease, where she needs to continue working on finishing, but she also is doing a good job getting to the free-throw line. On top of that she is grabbing a good amount of boards for her size. An interesting prospect to keep your eye on. She plays AAU for the Team Curry organization.
