There are plenty of other players too who have taken part in the open runs who may be flying under the radar a little bit. Here’s a look at some of those players.
1. Majesty Cade Majesty Cade 5'9" | CG Etiwanda | 2023 State CA – St. Anthony 2023
Cade is a real strong guard with a good slashing game. She finishes strong at the rim through contact. Very quick off the dribble; she puts a lot of pressure on the defense. She pushes the pace well and makes the right reads in transition. She can step out and knockdown jumpers from the outside. She has a good motor and can crash the glass as a guard.
2. Syri Prevo – Mayfair 2024
Prevo is a player I saw back in October where she competed hard against many players older than her. She’s a wing with high upside. She’s a very good ball-handler who dribbles under control and keeps her dribble low. Keeps her head up with the ball in her hands. She has the tools to be a solid scorer as well. Good one-on-one player who is only going to get better.
3. Halle Sii – Chino Hills 2022
Sii is a true hustle player who brings a lot of energy. She dives after loose balls and fights for rebounds. She’s a good defender who challenges shots well. She can play both guard positions. She’s got a solid playmaking game and looks to make the extra pass. Good off the dribble game; can get to the rim. She can also shoot from three-point range.
4. Queen Ruffin – Crossroads 2023
Ruffin is a solid scoring guard. She’s a crafty ball-handler and she can attack the defense off the dribble. She’s very quick and strong and can blow past defenders. She can finish through contact in the paint. Pushes the pace well on the break. She’s a solid three-point shooter; good catch and shoot with a quick release.
