- Addisyn Miller is a 5’7 guard from Benton. Addisyn has been on a scoring tear in the last week. She put up 29 points against West Frankfort and then 24 against Murphysboro. Miller is a great shooter and can get hotter than fire. Once she makes the first one, look out. Combine that with her motor she gets up and down the floor and can score off transition and just plain out hustle other players. Addisyn is a high level softball player that will most likely pursue that sport at the next level, but for now she is lighting up the scoreboard.
- Abbey Schreacke Abbey Schreacke 6'0" | SG Quincy Notre Dame | 2023 State IL Abbey is a wing that is really hard to guard. Her length and athletic ability allow her to get her shot off over the top of most defenders. She is a killer in the mid range where she can get a defender on their heels and pull up for the jumper. Abbey had 35 in a win over Illini West and is averaging over 23 per game for the season. This is definitely a D1 caliber player that should be watched over the next two years.
- Blair Eftink is a 5’8 2023 Guard from Quincy Notre Dame. Blair is a very good all around player that had an excellent freshman season for the Lady Raiders. She is off to a fast start showing off her ability to defend and score at all 3 levels. Blair had 20 in the win over Illini West and is averaging 16 points per game for the season.
- Amelia Bell Amelia Bell 6'1" | C O'Fallon | 2021 State IL Amelia is an athletic forward that has already signed at D2 Mississippi College. She has started her senior season with a bang showing off her ability to run the floor and score in the half court offense. For the season Amelia is averaging 23.5 points per game while making over 60% of her shots from the field and 17/18 from the free throw line.
- Kylie Kisgen Kylie Kisgen 5'6" | PG Freeburg | 2023 State IL Kylie is a nice 2023 point guard that is off a to a very good start. This left hander does a very good job on both ends of te floor. She is currently averaging 12.7 points per game and 5.3 steals per game. Kylie is very adept at getting into the lane off the bounce and finding ways to score. Due to the starts and stops of the season she has not quite dialed in her 3-point shot but she can and will hit it if teams play off her.
- Emily Smith is a 2021 Guard from Marissa. Emily has a top player in the area for 4 years stuffing the stat sheet. She is a tough player that can not only score but uses grit and determination to also get rebounds consistently for her team. So far this year Emily is averaging 16.5 points per game, 8 rebounds and 5 steals in wins over Gibault and Valmeyer.
- Karsen Jany Karsen Jany 5'9" | SG Columbia | 2023 IL Karsen is a high level softball player that will most likely take that sweet left handed swing to the D1 level. In the mean time she is also a very good basketball player. Karsen is a 5’9 guard that is stuffing the stats sheet through two games. She is averaging 12.6 points, 6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game.
- Sophia Loden Sophia Loden 5'11" | SF Mascoutah | 2023 State IL Sophia had 10 points, 10 rebounds 3 assists and 2 blocked shots in the opening game loss against Roxana. Due to roster turnover from graduation and injury Mascoutah is young and inexperienced so Sophia will be counted on to deliver every game. She has really improved her game off the bounce and shooting behind the 3-point line while maintaining her high level motor. It will be tough, but I am confident this 2023 standout will have a good season.
There are many more girls putting up big numbers so the information and evaluations will continue to flow!
