All Shore Conference Team of the Year

With the high school basketball season in New Jersey officially done we can look back at everything with clear eyes. The Shore Conference is home to not only some of the best teams in the state, but also some of the best prospects, they proved that this year by putting up insane numbers every night. This is the Shore Conference Team of the Year.
G: Madison St. Rose Madison St. Rose 5'10" | PG St. John Vianney | 2022 State #65 Nation NJ , St. John Vianney: Year after year St. John Vianney dominates the Shore Conference on the way to making waves in the state tournament. Because of the ongoing pandemic the state tournament did not happen this year so St. John Vianney had to settle for their normal domination of the Shore Conference behind the play of their star junior, Madison St. Rose Madison St. Rose 5'10" | PG St. John Vianney | 2022 State #65 Nation NJ . In her third year on the team St. Rose averaged 19.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game, showing the leadership abilities that will have college programs flocking to games in her senior season. She has shown a presence while on the court that allows her to command a team and go to work both offensively and defensively, expect more next year.
G: Mary Elizabeth Donnelly, Manasquan: In one of the harder divisions of the Shore Conference Manasquan was able to rise above all of the other teams. One of the reasons why Manasquan was so steady all year was because junior Mary Elizabeth Donnelly was the player steering the ship. Donnelly averaged 14.6 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists and brought an energy every time she took the floor that gave her team a leg up on the competition. Heading into her senior year she should be looked at as one of the most underrated players in the entire conference.
G: Abigail Antognoli Abigail Antognoli 5'6" | PG St. Rose | 2021 State NJ , St. Rose: As a senior Antognoli was on a mission to end her high school career on the right note. The leader of a stacked St. Rose squad, she did just that by going to work every single game and constantly being the best player on the court. One of the top ranked guards in the state, Antognoli averaged 20.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game while leading St. Rose to an 11-4 record. Every time she was on the court Antognoli stood head and shoulders above the competition with her cool demeanor. She’s off to play Division I basketball next year and will surely adjust quickly.
F: Destiny Adams Destiny Adams 6'3" | SF Manchester | 2021 State #26 Nation NJ , Manchester Township: The highest rated player in the state of New Jersey according to several publications, Destiny Adams Destiny Adams 6'3" | SF Manchester | 2021 State #26 Nation NJ lived up to the billing in her senior season. Constantly double teamed, all Adams did to combat this was put up averages of 30 points, 18.7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.5 blocks per game. It’s not said often, but there was literally nothing teams could do to stop Adams as she was a beast both offensively and defensively. She will be headed to the University of North Carolina next year and is sure to find her footing incredibly quickly because of her ability to make plays anywhere on the court.
C: Kelly Goodall, Toms River East: A team that prides themselves on the ability to get production from everyone on the roster, Toms River East did just that in a very odd season and found great success with it. One of the players that really stepped up for them this year was Kelly Goodall, her presence down low gave Toms River East the platform to make stops on defense and run out in transition for easy baskets. In her junior year Goodall averaged 7.1 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game, a consistent force all year. She didn’t put up eye popping numbers but for the entirety of the season she was the difference between wins and losses. Expect more of the same from Goodall as she enters her senior season.
