Division 3 State All-Tournament Team
The PGH Ohio Division 3 All-Tournament team from the state tournament last weekend at UD Arena.
MVP- Zoe Miller Zoe Miller 5'11" | C Hiland | 2021 State OH , 5-11 2021, Berlin Hiland
The Bowling Green signee has a pair of solid games at the state tournament as the Hawks captured their sixth state championship. Zoe (feature photo by Angie Saiter) is a complete player with a knack for the basket. She can play both inside/outside with an equal ability to score from both locations. Love her intensity and desire to win. In her two games, she scored 28 points on 6-13 shooting, but she makes her living at the free throw line, as she was 16-18 in the two games. She also grabbed 11 rebounds in the finals.
Morgan Yoder Morgan Yoder 5'8" | CG Berlin Hiland | 2021 State OH , 5-9 2021, Berlin Hiland
She showcased her skills in multiple ways, not only with the ability to score as she has 15 for the tournament, but also a great knack of finding her teammates. She has great court vision and is a solid passer. Very solid on-ball defender as she swiped nine steals in the two games at UD Arena. She really showed leadership in the tough win in the semis with 30 minutes.
Chloee Glenn, 5-10 2023, Ottawa Glandorf
Chloee plays above her years with a good knowledge of the game, hard work ethic and gets to the right spot on the floor to be most effective. She is a very solid post player midrange in, as she scored 25 points in the two games, but also was a fierce competitor around the rim with 15 rebounds. While the team struggled to produce in the state final game, she got to the free throw line as she can play well through contact. Bright future ahead for her.
Brooklyn Troyer Brooklyn Troyer 5'9" | CG Waynedale | 2021 State OH , 5-8 2021, Waynedale
Very impressed with her overall game and was the leader for a team who battled Ottawa Glandorf well in the semis before falling short by 10. Brooklyn had a very solid game with the ability to score in all three phases of the game. Scored 16 points in the game and shot well at 6-13. Defensively she was active with quick hands and a good knowledge of the game with good anticipation. She is headed to Malone in the fall.
McKenna Haugabook, 5-10 2022, Purcell Marian
They battled well against the eventual state champs from Hiland. McKenna came off the bench in this game and played some solid minutes, scoring nine points with two assists in the game. All season long, Purcell Marian battled tough competition which helped them prepare for this game and she was key in the third period when they made a comeback attempt.
Brynn Mullet Brynn Mullet 5'9" | CG Berlin Hiland | 2021 OH , 5-7 2021, Berlin Hiland
One of the best pure shooters we saw over the weekend, she connected on four three’s in the state championship game and shot 50% from beyond the arc in the two games. In the finals, Brynn scored a team-high 14 points with three steals on defense. She moves very well without the ball and can create shots for herself or her teammates. Headed to Ohio Dominican.
