2023 Ayanna Jackson Ayanna Jackson 6'1" | PF Example Academy | 2023 State IL , 5’10” Forward, Kenwood
A composed and skilled Forward with potential through the roof, Jackson did a lot on both ends of the floor to help Kenwood defeat Evanston. She scored 11 points, most of which in the paint, with her ability to slash through the lane and finish strong at the bucket. Ayanna handles the ball with confidence and runs the floor well in transition so that her teammates can set her up for easy points.
2022 Sophia Haska, 6’0” Forward, Fenton
Haska is a versatile Forward who can play inside and out and make contributions on both ends of the floor. She is a plus shooter from beyond the three-point line and uses her length and touch to score on the low block. Sophia did a nice job on defense in the lane, blocking or altering shots often and bringing down a handful of rebounds throughout the game.
2021 Jalynn Alexander, 6’3” Forward, Marian Catholic
Alexander is a lengthy and athletic Forward who contributed 12 points and 8 rebounds in a Marian Catholic win over Butler College Prep. Her quickness and long arms are difficult for most Post’s to defend, giving her tons of opportunities for high percentage looks at the rim. Jalynn can handle the ball well in transition and has nice touch in the mid-range.
2021 Summer Parker-Hall, 6’0″ Forward, Loyola Academy
Parker-Hall made a tremendous impact in Loyola’s victory over Lincoln-Way West, scoring 11 points and bringing down 8 rebounds. She is an athletic Forward with good strength and skill in the low-post and can also excel in the mid-range with good touch and ball-handling skills. Summer is a strong defender on the block and can switch out to the perimeter and defend Guards with her quickness and athleticism.
2022 Evan Pittman, 6’2” Forward, Lincoln-Way West
A strong Forward with a well-rounded skillset, Pittman paced Lincoln-Way West with 14 points and 8 rebounds against Loyola. She uses good body control and footwork to gain position on the block and finishes through contact. Evan can knock down the mid-range jumper and dominates the glass on both ends of the floor.
2021 Rhema Ogele, 6’3” Forward, Saint Ignatius
An outstanding Forward who only continues to improve, Ogele was a huge difference maker in a win over Joliet Catholic. The dominant Post had 21 points, all in the lane or from Free Throws, and simply looked unstoppable on the block. Rhema uses her length and good footwork to execute a variety of post moves successfully, giving her easy looks at the bucket throughout the game.
2022 Emily Pape Emily Pape 6'0" | SF Maine South | 2022 State IL , 6’0” Forward, Maine South
In a tremendous effort to try to upset Number 1 ranked Simeon, Pape was terrific in the post with 14 points and 7 rebounds. She is a strong and all-around talented Forward who moves well in the lane to create good spacing on the floor and attacks the basket hard when given the opportunity.
2021 Ellie Ronan, 6’2” Forward, Maine South
Similar to Pape, Ellie Ronan made a massive impact against Simeon in the post, bringing in 16 points and a handful of rebounds. She is an excellent complement to Pape on the low-block and added great length on defense as a rim protector in the lane.
2024 Lauren Miller, 5’9” Forward, Trinity
A composed Forward in the Freshman class, Miller has a mature style of play that allows her to compete against talented upperclassmen. She is a hardworking athlete who handles the ball well and can score in a variety of ways. Lauren gives maximum effort when she’s on the court and can defend multiple players with her strength and versatility.
2022 Nakia Bardney, 6’1” Forward, Simeon
Bardney is versatile Forward who can play with the ball in her hands due to her reliable ball-handling skills and outstanding passing abilities. She scored most of her 22 points in the lane while attacking strong from the wing or cleaning up missed shots and creating second-chance opportunities. Nakia uses her great athleticism and length to improvise in the lane and score around multiple defenders.
