In this article:
Logan Nissley Logan Nissley 6'0" | CG Bismarck Century | 2023 State ND – (5’10/SG/2023) – 21.1 ppg – 7.2 rpg – 3.8 ast. 3.8 stls. 1.8 blk. – Mentioned numerous times on the site, Logan the #1 ranked 2023, has taken her game to an elite level production-wise and from an efficiency standpoint. Her overall field goal percentage was 56% and 66-144 from three for 46%. First team All-stater.
Miriley Simon Miriley Simon 6'1" | C West Fargo | 2023 State ND – West Fargo – (6’1/C/2023) – 16.4 ppg. – 9.9 rpg. – 2.0 blk. – Miriley was an inside force for the West Fargo Packers. The 2023 post is strong and smooth inside, with a jumper that extends beyond the free-throw line. She was chosen to the Class A 2nd team All-State team.
Maya Metcalf Maya Metcalf 6'2" | PF West Fargo Sheyenne | 2023 State ND – West Fargo Sheyenne – (6’0/C/2023) – 12.3 ppg. – 7.6 rpg. – Maya took her late summer surge into the entirety of her Sophomore season. Had three 20+ point performances but had a few inconsistent scoring games that brought her average down a little. For a Sophomore in the EDC, she more than held her own in the paint. Relies on short jumpers in the paint a little too much, and if she developed a back-to-basket type of game, that will take her game to another level.
Anthonett Nabwe Anthonett Nabwe 5'9" | SF Jamestown | 2022 State ND – Jamestown- (5’9/PF/2022) – 12.6 ppg. – 9.8 rpg. – Anthonett was the most improved prospect possibly throughout the enite state. Her performance in the WDA tournament, helped everyone take notice. She’s a 3 or 4 that can start the possession out on a wing but she does most of her damage in the paint. Her athleticism is one of the tops in the state and allows her to board the ball and make consistent defensive plays. She’s now a top 15 prospect for the class of 2022, even though she may not have a true position for the next level at this point.
McKenna Johnson McKenna Johnson 6'2" | PF Mandan | 2025 State ND – Mandan – (6’0/C/2025) – The future is bright at Mandan, and McKenna is the main ingredient behind that. The eighth-grader did not play like one when she got varsity playing time experience this season. She had a coming-out party in the WDA tournament. She’s a long, athletic 6’0 and could be a serious problem for opponents if she keeps growing. Already with a long frame, McKenna has some serious upside. She will be playing for the ND Attack this offseason and PGH will have updates on her performance. One of the more exciting developments to monitor this summer.
Bergan Kinnebrew Bergan Kinnebrew 5'11" | CG Bismarck Century | 2023 State ND – Bismarck Century – (5’10/CG/2023) – 7.6 ppg. – Bergan had a highly efficient season shooting 51% from the field and 11-22 from three in 18 games played. Bergan is set to take-off next season and put together another breakout season as well. She’s a top 10 2023 with room for some upward movement. Long and lengthy, and can handle and shoot the rock. A good overall game with smoothness.
Peyton Neumiller Peyton Neumiller 5'10" | SG Bismarck High | 2023 State ND – Bismarck High – (5’9/SG/2023) – 13.6 ppg. 3.9 rpg. – Peyton makes it a point to put pressure on the defense and is not afraid to attack and fire up the rock. Her scoring numbers should only go up in the next couple seasons and PGH wouldn’t be surprised if she reaches the 17-20 ppg. mark when it’s all said and done. She’s our #5 2023 prospect and should be a strong hold at that ranking number.
Maggie Fricke Maggie Fricke 5'8" | PG Minot | 2026 State ND – Minot – (5’6/PG/2026) – 11.4 ppg. – Starting point guard for Minot as a seventh-grader. Yes, you read that right, a seventh-grader. Maggie has a firm grasp on how the point guard position should be played, for such a young age. Handles pressure very well and can continue her dribble to relieve defensive pressure.
Ashton Safranski Ashton Safranski 5'7" | PG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND – Fargo Davies – (5’4/PG/2024) – Ashton has an extra gear to her that not many players have. Able to change direction with the ball at high speeds. She consistently got regular playing time at the point throughout the season, being not just one of the best 2024 point guards, but one of the best point guards in the state. Going forward Ashton will be mentioned regularly and a prospect for college programs looking for a dynamic point guard to monitor and track.
Avery Lunde Avery Lunde 5'9" | SG Minot | 2024 State ND – Minot – (5’8/SG/2024) – 15.4 ppg. – 7.1 rpg. – 2.6 stls. – Avery is a fun watch and a favorite of PGH’s. Compactly built and strong, after further consideration, she’s our #1 ranked prospect in the North Dakota class of 2024. She’s the lone All-WDA selection from the 2024 class. She’s strong, athletic, and skilled as a passer and scorer. She doesn’t rush her offensive game and her body control is one of the best you will see. Very fun prospect to monitor for growth as a scorer. Her scoring numbers could become ridiculous. She’ll be in the 20 point range in no time. She’ll be with ND Attack in the offseason.
