#50 Peyton Freiermuth Peyton Freiermuth 5'8" | PG Austin Westlake | 2023 State TX – 5’8 PG (Austin Westlake)
Friermuth is a heady point guard that just sees the floor so well and makes the right decisions yet she also can take over a game offensively, she has shown that under various conditions in various settings but her handling the ball under pressure as well as creating her shot just keeps creating issues because her jumper is smooth and consistent, that’s mid to long-range and she can attach k and score, well she can also dish off the attack as well as control the tempo
#55 Monica Marsh Monica Marsh 5'6" | CG Plano West | 2023 State TX 5’6 CG (Plano West)
Marsh has always amazed me with her ability to score, multiple ways and she is one of those players that understand how to put the ball in the basket so be it outrebounding taller opponents for putbacks or hitting a stop-and-pop jumper in transition, she can get going at the blink of an eye yet she can also score in the flow but when she turns it on, be ready because her first step sets everything up and shooting the mid to long-range definitely creates problems for the defense
#64 Syona Mandyam Syona Mandyam 5'9" | SG Austin Westlake | 2023 State TX -5’10 SG (Austin Westlake)
Mandyam falls into that category I love to talk about, big guards that can shoot, and as I say over and over, more importantly, college coaches love those who fit into that profile and they’re giving the “ships” so yeah she elevates on her jumper, the release is smooth and fluid and she creates it nicely under pressure, that’s mid to long-range but she also can put it on the floor and attack the rim
#79 Chelsea Lott Chelsea Lott 5'9" | SG Lipan | 2023 State TX -5’9 SG (Lipan)
Lott put on a show during the UIL 2A State Championship and that show earned rave reviews including Tournament MVP so after watching her on the computer, which I hate because of the play-by-play, I rather watch players in person and doing the play-by-play in my head so her ability to score multiple ways, creating her shot as well as playing solid defense during the club season proves I was right for adding her
#84 Journee Harris-Chambers Journee Harris-Chambers 5'5" | CG Frisco Liberty | 2023 State TX -5’5 PG (Frisco Liberty)
Chambers brought plenty of heat on defense during the playoffs, her team was trying to repeat but came up short yet she sent a message and it wasn’t telepathic nor from Western Union and that was her energy level is up there and that old saying “pressure will burst a pipe” tells me what she’s becoming because she can man up on ball baseline to baseline and create turnovers yet she also attacked and finished well, this includes after contact
