Key Players to Watch
Aleeona Robinson, 5-6 Lutheran East
Her game is a game where she can control the floor and doesn’t allow players to speed her up, goes at her own pace. She is one of the ery physical guards who can take on the full court man-to-man guard and handle all the pressure without having to adjust. Create her shot well. She reminds players of James Harden, understands a mismatch situation and instinct when to take on a game. She will put her teammates in the right position to score.
Uriah Jennings Uriah Jennings 5'8" | CG Mayfield Heights | 2023 State OH , 5-8 Mayfield Heights
Very big jump this year. She has become a lot more explosive and her confidence her grown. Can score well on all three levels of getting to the rim, three-point gamer and solid at her midrange game. Good defender and is a very coachable player. Plays well through contact and all-around, her offensive skill set is strong. Good footwork and understands what is going on. Plays relentless and superior work ethic.
Alexandria Duncan, 5-4 Mayfield Heights
A lockdown defender and her defensive instincts are good. Pass-first point guard and dishes well. Can shoot some from outside the arc, and needs to work on developing a midrange game. Can get to the rim. She can guard 1-5 if needed, and is most comfortable with 1-4. Good work ethic and is a poised player that allows herself to just play. Can control the floor and defensively has a good idea what she needs to do.
Amiya Latham, 5-5 Lutheran East
Really good shooter and has a very high ceiling. Plays hard and her development in her defense has picked up. She can handle the ball better, and does a good job with her midrange and behind the arc. She rebounds well and is a player who is a shooter who can so multiple things on the court. Plays hard and is coachable. Her effort on the court is excellent.
Ashia Robinson, 5-10 Harvey
One of those players who is very long and athletic, rebounds well and has a high motor. Plays with a lot of energy, allowing her defense to bring a lot to her offensive game. Very vocal and understands the game well. Finishes around the rim well, and has a midrange game she continues to develop. Another player with a high ceiling.
