Aaniya Webb Aaniya Webb 6'0" | SG Omaha Central | 2022 State NE -6’0 SG (Della Lamb 17U 3SSB) 2022
Webb is long and athletic, I call that the base, and watching her do a couple of things just grabbed at me immediately like her creating her shot for the pull-up jumper, the release is quick and fluid, and more importantly, and guess what, college coaches love big guards that can shoot so that as well as her rebounding definitely was a bonus, well also playing the passing lane
Anahlynn Murray-5’7 PG (Houston Lady Roadrunners 17U Barnett) 2022
Murray is right here in Houston and yes I’ve seen her but never really saw her play and almost immediately she showed me what I’ve missing starting with SWB, that’s my acronym for speed with the ball yet she’s also under control and can handle it while bring pressured coast to cast. She sees the floor and has good range but that first step created a lot of problems
Kiara Brown Kiara Brown 6'0" | PF Jenks | 2022 State OK -6’1 PF (Oklahoma Federal Ballerz Gold) 2022
Brown has UPS by her name and it’s for more than delivering some impressive midrange shooting as well as attacking the basket off the dribble. The mid has become somewhat of a lost art so when I catch players doing it over and over, it’s a #THROWBACK for me yet she creates it nicely under pressure and elevates both on the pull-up as well as the finish, which she does after contact. She also rebounds well and plays the passing lane
Hailey Adams-6’0 PG (SA Hoops Elite Gold) 2022
Adams falls into the “not sure how I missed her” category since I have her teammate Aaliyah Roberson Aaliyah Roberson 6'2" | PF Clark | 2022 State TX -6’2 SF listed in the top 100 but I’m glad I had the book because she definitely cooked on the court. Her size and handling of the ball, ability to control the tempo as well as seeing the floor all were impressive yet her range and watching her attack the rim were very very nice yet that reverse layup after contact for the and-one was the icing on the cake
Mikaylah Williams-6’0 PG (Mavs Elite STRONG-Durham) 2023
Williams definitely showed me a whole lot in a short span and watching her attack the basket cuffing the ball and finishing sealed it. She sees the floor, she has a nice pull-up jumper and she elevates, not only on her shot but to rebound and she snags the ball out of the air as well. To say she’s a BCS lock is a total understatement, she’s a legitimate national player that brings so much to the table
