Kennedi Rowland-5’8 G (Della Lamb 17U Gold) 2022
Rowland attacks the rim, yet when she attacks she uses an explosive first step to go by defenders at the drop of a dime, which she does as well because she sees the floor going full speed and can make the tight passes on the money. She also did a good job of creating her shot, under pressure and that same explosiveness was shown going up for the jumper
Tiffany Liddie-5’8 SG (Texas Platinum 17U Bates) 2022
Liddie had me fall into a time warp thinking about G Gordon yet Loughmiller beat me to her as well but nevertheless, I have been watching her for weeks, she’s consistently doing next-level things, and let me say this, she’s long and athletic, can handle the ball under pressure, plays within herself, scores in the flow, sees the court, what else, oh that pull-up jumper aka, the stop and pop and she defends
Darianna Littlepage-Buggs Darianna Littlepage-Buggs 6'1" | SF Classen SAS | 2022 State #24 Nation OK 6’2 PF (Mavs Elite STRONG-Durham) 2022
Buggs is just an absolute nightmare to defend starting with her “college-ready frame” because she can punish defenders in the paint, scoring with them hanging all over her yet she can also do some punishing while defending, either rebounding with authority or blocking shots not to leave that “in your face” defense from yesteryear. It’s a bonus that she can also shoot the ball, midrange is solid
Marisa Seaton-5’10 PG (SA Hoops Elite Gold) 2022
Seaton is long and athletic, remember that’s the base yet watching her create that jumper, she’s in the picture which is perfect yet so is her jumper and she can knock it down from mid to long-range and I keep wondering, how did I miss her and it could be a number of reasons but I didn’t miss her attacking off the dribble and finishing after contact
Vivian Villie-5’9 SG (San Antonio Unite Black) 2022
Villie is a rebounding guard that can score, I said that backward for a reason because she outrebounds taller players because she understands something which isn’t being taught or if it is, implemented on a large scale and that’s understanding positioning. Another thing she understands is how to create her shot under pressure and she did a good job dropping the mid to long-range
Asia Prudhomme-5’10 SF ( DC Queens Black) East Central HS 2023
Prudhomme is new on here, I caught her a few weeks ago and NO, she isn’t related to Paul but she definitely cooks on the court. Her aggressive mindset enables her to overpower defenders, even those who are bigger yet with the type of body control she shows, it’s hard to contain her. She gets to the basket multiple ways and finishes, multiple ways yet that pull-up in transition is very very nice
Kalayia Johnson Kalayia Johnson 5'9" | PG Holland Hall | 2023 State OK -5’9 PG (Team Griffin Elite 2023)
Johnson, like Prudhomme, is technically not new to me yet I hadn’t written about her but trust me, I saw her skill-set and knew what I was looking at. She’s strong and she does things powerfully and seeing her take defenders over and over off the dribble and finish after contact gives you an idea yet she plays within herself, handles the ball and sees the floor well, good rebounder and defender, and can face the basket and hit the jumper
