Ramyiah Logan Ramyiah Logan 5'7" | PG Lincoln Prep | 2023 State MO 5’6″ Della Lamb 2023 3SSB: I was impressed with this southpaw 2023 point guard from Lincoln Prep. She is strong physically and plays an old-school type of game. Her handles were tight and she was able to get to wherever she wanted to go and play at whatever pace she wanted to play. She would lull defenders to sleep, then hit them with a quick move to the bucket and score on layups, short jumpers and floaters in the lane.
Riley Bruggeman Riley Bruggeman 5'8" | PG St. James Academy | 2023 State KS 5’7″ KC Lady Run GMC 2023 UAA: A talented 2023 point guard from St. James Academy (KS) who does a multitude of things to help her team win, which she did over the weekend in helping her team to a 4-0 record. She is a solid ball handler who is steady with the ball and she has the habit of making timely shots. She is a good defender who keeps herself in the right position to make the right play.
Kaliyah Sain 5’10” Team Iowa 2023 BlueStar: A versatile 2023 wing from Cedar Rapids (IA) who had a productive weekend in helping lead her team to a 3-1 record. She is a good ball handler and passer with a high basketball IQ which enables her to facilitate when she has to. She has the ability to score inside or step outside and knock down 3-pointers, which she can do off the catch or off the dribble. Her release is nice and quick.
Halyn Browning 5’5″ Team Trae Young 2023: A 2025 point guard from Oklahoma who was playing two years up at 16U along with the rest of her team and you would have never known by poise and confidence she displayed at running her young team. She was probably the best passing guard that I watched in the 16U division as she consistently dropped dimes with her laser court vision. She knew her teammates were open before they knew they were open as she threw some passes to spots before a play arrived, which led to an easy attempt.
Heaven Shockley Heaven Shockley 6'1" | C Central (Springfield) | 2023 State MO 6’1″ Missouri Tarheels 2023: The 2023 forward from Springfield Central (MO) was impressive at both ends of the court throughout the weekend. She used her size well to post up and get good position and had the footwork to score on a variety of moves. She also did a nice job of blocking shots on the defensive end with her length. She also displayed good mobility at going out and challenging shots on the perimeter.
