Prep Girls Hoops South Carolina had the pleasure of watching these girls from the Northwest play a few times this weekend. Lets take a look at some of my thoughts on this talented program right here on your source for basketball coverage Prep Girls Hoops. First I will look at the older team who I saw play A’ja Wilson Elite 2022 – Dickerson a South Carolina based team.
Jada Walters Jada Walters 5'11" | SF Garfield | 2022 State WA (2022) – Garfield HS (Seattle) (pictured on front)
Walters is a tough-minded player who just really scraps for everything she can manufacture on the floor. Walters was constantly around the ball and always in the right position to make a play. Walters just does all the little things to help your team win games. Walters was able to score around the cup with both hands quite effectively.
Amelie Sitterud Amelie Sitterud 6'0" | SG Tahoma | 2023 State WA (2023) – Lake Washington HS (Kirkland)
Sitterud has a great looking shooting stroke from behind the arc. Sitterud connected on open looking shots while shooting the ball off the catch. Sitterud a good size wing was able to finish on contact at times today.
Olivia Anderson Olivia Anderson 6'6" | PF Ellensburg | 2023 State #37 Nation WA (2023) – Ellensburg HS
Anderson was just GREAT in the paint with her ability to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end. Anderson feels quite comfortable playing face-up to the basket and behind the 3-point line. Anderson finished with a few jump-hooks at times around the basket today. Anderson had 10 points and 7 blocks in the game vs A’ja Wilson Elite 2022 – Dickerson according to my stats.
Lucy Larson (2024) – West Seattle HS
Larson is a up and coming young lady with plenty of potential for sure. Larson didn’t play intimidated at all this weekend with her play. Larson a left-handed plays with a lot of confidence and has a great shooting stroke.
