Nadia Dial | Lady Attack Elite | 2022
Dial makes nice cuts in the paint finding the open areas, and she knows how to plan her timing perfectly when executing plays. She does a great job driving to the basket, too, and she fights through contact making sure she earns her points. She can track the ball well making sure she blocks shots, especially anyone who tries to score near her in the paint. She fights for offensive rebounds, too, using spin moves and power dribbles to put the ball back up for some points. She has some nice ball moves that she uses to get her opponents off of her in order to show off her shot from behind the arc.
Maddie Shannon | Lady Attack Elite | 2022
Shannon runs the floor well making sure she is available in transition. She boxes out and fights for every rebound from the block, and she has some nice moves she can use to score from there. She knows how to find the perfect position to score herself or open up the lane for her guards to get by their defenders. She also showed that she can shoot well from behind the arc.
Precious Ogboko | Team Loaded NC | 2022
Ogboko uses her size and length to be an obstacle in the paint. She boxes out fighting for rebounds, and she blocks shots well on defense. She has an arsenal of post moves she can use showing off good footwork to get her way in the paint. She can power dribble and use up and under moves to get by her defenders, and she scores well through contact.
Emma Fox Emma Fox 6'5" | C Newton-Connover | 2022 NC | FBC Carolina Elite Hall | 2022
Fox has some great height and strength that allows her to be a bully in the paint making sure she has her way. She strips the ball from her opponents, too, and knows exactly where to move with the ball to make sure her team scores. She uses good footwork and awareness knowing the perfect move to show off in order to score her points in the post. It seems like she embraces contact and matches the toughness that an opponent is trying to impose.
Amanda Sacoto | Lady Attack Elite | 2023
Sacoto is an adamant rebounder following shots and crashing the boards to grab rebounds. She makes sure her opponents pay the price when they forget to box her out. She does well moving to the open spot on the court and sealing off her opponent to get a good entry pass from her teammates and score. She knows exactly how to move her body to score when she catches a pass.
Blanca Thomas Blanca Thomas 6'5" | C Charlotte Catholic | 2024 State NC | Lady Attack Elite | 2024
Thomas (pictured above) is a force inside. Her 6’5” frame makes it difficult for anyone to score in the paint. She blocks shots, and she makes opponents second guess their decision to drive to the hoop. She uses some nice moves to score her points in the paint, and she can certainly turn and score in no time at all. She follows shots on offense making sure she has some second chance opportunities.
