That being said, in the last few weeks or so, we have seen a couple of talented players announce their college destinations for the 2021-2022 college basketball season.
2021 5’7 point guard Karina McMillan Karina McMillan 5'7" | PG Sumner | 2021 State WA committed to NCAA Division 3 Cal Lutheran in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. McMillan is a tough and gritty competitor that has seen her game improve year by year from an offensive and decision making standpoint. Cal Lutheran is located in the beautiful Thousand Oaks, California.
The other latest announcement came from Rainier Beach High School’s Jaliyah Sampson Jaliyah Sampson 6'0" | SF Rainier Beach | 2021 State WA . The 6’0 wing is known for her shooting ability and strength from the small forward position. Sampson is going to be playing her college ball at Langston University at the NAIA level. Langston University competes in the Sooner Athletic Conference and is located in Langston, Oklahoma. *Feature image
