There were so many top performers that I had to list 20 players in my overall top performers article and now I have to parse down the rest of the 2022 class to a list of five players who just missed being a top-20 overall performer. It wasn’t easy, but here are five of the top performers in the 2022 class that I saw in Dallas this past weekend.

– 5’7 PG – Platinum Basketball 2022 Bruce
Celsur was a player who caught my eye almost immediately in the first game I watched. She’s a very level-headed guard on the ball and is a great leader on the floor. She’s an important asset to this team but she isn’t a player that will catch your attention unless you are looking for certain things. Celsur isn’t going to be one to look to score all the time, which she definitely can if needed, and she isn’t ever going to make many mistakes. Celsur is just one of those guards that you can give the ball to and let her loose. Managing the offense this weekend seemed easy for her and if you are looking for an all-around point guard at the lead spot, Celsur is your kid.
Claire Graham – 5’8 SG – Platinum Basketball 2022 Bruce
Graham was a player this weekend that I just really enjoyed watching. She handles the ball well and has good size at the guard spot. I thought that a few times she was able to get down hill really easy and use her athleticism to score the ball. Graham uses hesitation to get to the rim really well but she also has a package of dribble moves that she can use as well to get to the rim. Graham is a solid defender with her length and her ability to read the defender and get her hands on the ball. Her basketball IQ is really solid and I thought that every time I saw her she made the right play with the basketball. She’s a very high level player who is going to be an asset at the next level.
Reina Flores – 5’6 G – TNBA Houston 2022
The first time that I saw Flores the first thing that she did was make a hustle play. I started to keep a closer eye on her and she struck me as someone who is always going to make smart plays and she is someone that you can rely on to be one of the hardest workers on the floor. I thought that Flores continually got better as the weekend went on and she started to show much more of her game. I liked her length and I though that for this TNBA Houston group that it brought some help on the defensive side of the ball. She’s an interesting player and I think she’ll fit well at a school at the next level because she competes so hard no matter who she is playing against.

– 6’1 F – Team Trae Young 2022 – Army commit
Papahronis is an athletic forward who was all over the floor for her Team Trae Young group. She’s very unique as she can do a ton with the ball in her hands. She can get to the rim and score it off the bounce, she can shoot the three, she can bring it up the floor and score in transition, or she can pound the glass and get easy second-chance points. Papahronis is a versatile forward on the defensive end as well as she can guard multiple spots on the floor. Her athleticism is a big key to her game because at her skill the skill and athleticism combination you just don’t see very often. She does all the little things that make this squad very dangerous.
Mackenzie McKown – 5’11 W – Just Play Elite 2022
When I first watched this Just Play Elite team play, I was very impressed by their overall fundamental and shooting ability. Watching McKown play you realize that while she isn’t going to jump off the court at you she will play as steady as anyone. She;s a very good shooter from both the mid-range and from beyond the arc, but she can also score the ball well from in the paint. She rebounds the ball really well on both ends of the floor and it just seemed like she never stopped crashing the glass. McKown is very smooth with the ball in her hands and can operate easily both in space and in traffic. She’s going to be a very good contributor at the next level.
