McKenna Snively McKenna Snively 5'9" | CG North Raleigh Christian | 2022 State NC | Carolina Flames 17U Nike | 2022
Snively just seems to know how the ball should be coming off of her hand no matter if she is setting up for a three point shot or making an acrobatic play to score underneath the basket. She can show off her shot from all over the court, and she uses her lethal shot to fake out opponents driving the ball around them as they close out on her. She isn’t only a scorer, though, as she can certainly find her open teammates under the basket or while they are making a break in transition to score.
Ryan Swilling Ryan Swilling 5'8" | CG Charlotte Christian | 2022 NC | FBC Carolinas Elite Charlotte Meadows | 2022
You are certainly going to get a lot of points with this athlete. Swilling is a left handed shooter that always knows how to put the ball through the hoop. She handles the ball well creating separation from her defenders in order to put up her shot or blow by them moving to the basket. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates, and she knows where to move without the ball to catch a pass and shoot.
Cassidy Geddes Cassidy Geddes 5'7" | CG Newton-Conover | 2023 State NC | Lady Attack Elite 2023 National George | 2023
Geddes is one of the best shooters I have seen in a long time, and she is just now finishing up her second year in high school. No matter how many opposing coaches yell, “Shooter!” whenever she touches the ball, opponents still struggle with stopping her from putting up her shot. She has a quick release that is lethal, and she is consistent with her makes no matter who her opponent is. She can handle the ball, too, driving to the basket to score getting by her opponents.
Mia Xerras Mia Xerras 5'6" | CG Myers Park | 2023 State NC | Lady Attack Elite 2023 National George | 2023
Xerras (pictured above) uses her vision of the court to let plays develop, and she knows the perfect times to put up the shot herself from behind the arc. As a sophomore, she knows how to lead her team and play with confidence even against older high school athletes. She’s an excellent ball handler knowing how to weave in and out of her opponents and make amazing passes that only her teammates can get.
Tatum Bowen Tatum Bowen 5'9" | SF 1 Of 1 Prep Academy | 2023 State NC | Lady Attack Elite 2023 National George | 2023
Bowen is one of the most consistent threats you will find on the court, and she can do a little bit of everything. She is deadly when shooting from behind the arc, and she knows how to push the ball up the court herself after grabbing her own steals. She drives past her opponents, and she does not shy away from contact when getting close to the basket. She crashes boards, too, and she can certainly bully any post player when fighting for the rebounds.
Rhian Lawrence | Carolina Flames 16U EYBL | 2023
Lawrence certainly shows off her shot from behind the arc on many occasions. She is a tough defender stripping the ball away from her opponents. Her vision on the court is on full display with the passes that she is able to make into her teammates, especially at full speed in transition. At LBI Opening Day, she finished several games with multiple three pointers.
Dorothy Mills | Team Carolina Williams | 2024
Mills can handle the ball well pushing her way to the basket to score. Her defense turns into offense, too, with the way she can grab steals and push it to the other end of the court or even steal the ball while pressing for an easy lay up. She can certainly show off her shot from behind the arc, too. She hit some clutch three pointers late in a game at LBI Opening Day, three in a row to be exact, making sure her team could seal the win.
