Multiple players impressed in the second session of the 2021 WVSSAC State Tournament. Listed below are a few who stood out.

 

Kaylea Baisden Kaylea Baisden 5'7" | CG Tug Valley | 2022 State WV - Tug Valley - 2022 - Guard

Audrey Evans - Tug Valley - 2022 - Guard

Tug Valley rolled in their first round matchup against Pendleton County. Led by Kaylea Baisden Kaylea Baisden 5'7" | CG Tug Valley | 2022 State WV who put up the most three pointers (9) in a State Tournament game ever. Baisden had 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals. Audrey Evans added 15 points shooting 4-4 from beyond the arc. Tug Valley advances to the semifinals.

 

Leslie Huffman Leslie Huffman 5'9" | CG Parkersburg Catholic | 2022 State WV -  Parkersburg Catholic - 2022 - Guard

Aaliyah Brunny Aaliyah Brunny 6'1" | PF Parkersburg Catholic | 2021 State WV - Parkersburg Catholic - 2022 - Forward

Parkersburg Catholic got out and early showing an aggressive defensive performance in their win over Ravenswood. Leslie Huffman Leslie Huffman 5'9" | CG Parkersburg Catholic | 2022 State WV put up 16 points and added 8 boards. Aaliyah Brunny Aaliyah Brunny 6'1" | PF Parkersburg Catholic | 2021 State WV got a team high 5 steals with 11 points. Parkersburg Catholic will face Williamstown in the semifinals.
