This teams plays a motion offense that sounds simple in conversation but is filled with intricate movements implemented by their head coach Tucker Neale. Defensively this team gets after it, in both the half court and full court settings. Fun team to watch and they look forward to seeing progress in the upcoming exposure events they have scheduled!
The SMAC Attack players to watch
Brooklyn Vickers, 5-4 2024, Lynhurst Brush
Super quick guard! Defensively she gets after it like no other, offensive player’s worst nightmare. Her tenacity on defensive is very solid. Offensively she is a very skilled guard who can shoot it from deep and can get to the basket with ease. Ultimate team player who you can hear encouraging her teammates when she is on the court and even when she is on the bench. Very bright future for her!!
Izzy Callaway, 5-6 2024, Akron Hoban
Floor general who can score and facilitate as needed and has no problem doing either! Excellent basketball IQ that she exhibits every-time she graces the court. Izzy is a prototypical lead guard who makes great decisions whether it is related to her scoring or creating scoring opportunities for her teammates. She can shoot the three, has a nice mid-range and can get creative with her scoring on driving opportunities. Isabella’s energy and joy for the game is impressive-she has a bright future in the hoops world.
Nia Booker, 5-6 2024, Solon
Nia is probably the quickest guard I have seen in Northeast Ohio! Defensively she plays the passing lanes like a defensive back on the football field. Her defensive tenacity wreaks havoc on her offensive counterparts. Offensively she can get to the basket with ease and has developed a deadly outside shot! Another player who has a bright future ahead of her in hoops.
Kaylee Levenhagen, 6-2 2024, Solon
Stands at 6’2 and he size alone creates havoc on the court. Offensively she has a nice mid-range game that extends to the block where she will score on you with the drop step or jump hook. Defensively she possess the skills to alter and block shots with ease. For a post player, she also shoots a high percentage from the free throw line. Very bright future for Kaylee!
Danielle Cameron, 5-9 2024, Olmstead Falls
Dani is one of purest shooter in the area. Her three point shooting is solid. When she knocks down 3-4 threes on her opponent, she then exhibits her ability to get to the basket to create for herself and her teammates. She is a great rebounder for her size and you can always count on her to retrieve those 50/50 loose balls. Great player with a very high ceiling!!
Sarah Reiser, 5-10 2024, Shelby
Sarah plays both ends of the floor. A lockdown defender who takes pride in locking down her offensive target. Great rebounder, who rebounds and outlets similar to Kevin Love of the Cavs. Offensively she is highly skilled. She can knock down the three, consistently hits the mid-range jump shot and scores in the post. She is not the person to foul, as she shoots a high percentage from the free throw line. Great teammate who is selfless. She always puts the team first. Having a player like Sarah makes your team better in all facets.
Chenoa Moss, 6-1 2024, St. Vincent St. Mary
Chenoa is a dominant post player who controls the paint on the offensive and defensive end. Defensively, she is the perfect rim protector who has the ability to alter and block shots with ease. Offensively, she scores well around the basket using the drop step and jump hook as her go to moves. Chenoa game is still evolving as she has added the mid-range jump shot to her arsenal as well as the three point shot. She is very vocal on and off the court and she brings fun and excitement on any court she steps on. A great teammate who will continue to get better as the season progresses.
Taylor Angielski, 5-11 2024, Walsh Jesuit
Taylor is what I like to call a glue player. She scores, she defends, she rebounds, and she makes the right passes. A player with a very high basketball IQ who always finds a way to get it done. Whether it’s knocking down a clutch 3, getting that needed defensive rebound or making the right pass, Taylor is that player that gets it done. Very bright future for Taylor with hoops!
Journey Hildebrand Journey Hildebrand 5'11" | CG Brunswick | 2024 State OH , 5-10 2024, Brunswick
Journey is a very skilled player who can play multiple positions. Has a knack for scoring at all levels. Can shoot the three, pull up for the mid-range jump shot and can score on driving to the basket with the best of them. At 5’10, she rebounds and blocks shots as well. Defensively she locks down and alters shots in paint due to her size. Excellent basketball IQ and has a high motor. The sky is the limit for Journey!
