These evaluations are from the second game I watched on Friday night at the Big City Hoops Girls Collegiate Showcase. These girls stood out on the floor to me as an evaluator and that is why I am showing them some love in this article, they deserve to be showcased and put in front of potential coaches that may need a player like them. Hope you enjoy the evaluations here, we try our best.
2022, SG/PG, Desert Oasis HS, Olivia Bigger - Aggressive guard that can get to the rim at will and has a bunch of great finishes against the contact. Shoots it’s very well. She was very impressive with how she handle the ball in traffic, got to spots wherever she wanted and was a true leader for her squad on the floor. This girl should have some major schools looking at her, but due to the Pandemic, it has messed with the process of recruiting kids in many areas.
2022, PG, Desert Oasis HS, Elin Guzelkucuk - Aggressive point guard that sees the floor really well, her IQ is off the charts as a point guard and she knows it. She gets the ball to her teammates when they need it to score, it is always on time and is always a good pass for a score. She can score by getting to the basket, she can score by shooting the floater or midrange shot, but she did not show me her three point shot in the game I watched her play. This girl is solid and she is gonna be good at the next level, coaches pay attention.

2023, SF/PF, Desert Oasis HS, Lata Fakahafua - Nice size can finish in the paint as well as assist her teammates for scores. Runs the floor hard and is a willing defender. She was able to catch and finish every pass her teammates got to her each and every time down the floor. She is skilled in the paint and can score thru contact, but what I like the most about this girl is that she ran the floor, made passes to teammates and was the best rebounder on the floor that night. She is young, but she is a problem for most in the paint.
2023, CG, Bishop Gorman HS, Jade Garrison - Aggressive, smooth and crafty guard for her team, has a nice stroke on her shot and is a menace on the defensive end. She was very calm and collect as she attacked the basket, she has a decent handle and did not turnover the ball in traffic. She shot the ball well from the midrange and could get to the rim, but she was a proven competitor on the floor for her team. Nice body type for a guard and she was a willing defender and kept her opponent in check on the floor.
