Skylar Davidson Skylar Davidson 5'5" | PG Wyoming East | 2021 State WV and Leslie Huffman Leslie Huffman 5'9" | CG Parkersburg Catholic | 2022 State WV were putting up similar numbers heading into the championship game on Saturday. Davidson proved she wanted it as she got 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 steals. Davidson led Wyoming East to the “AA” State Title.
Leslie Huffman Leslie Huffman 5'9" | CG Parkersburg Catholic | 2022 State WV – Parkersburg Catholic – 2022 – Guard
Leslie Huffman Leslie Huffman 5'9" | CG Parkersburg Catholic | 2022 State WV had an all around solid state tournament performance as expected. Huffman averaged 17.3 points per game as she helped lead Parkersburg Catholic into the championship game.
Aaliyah Brunny Aaliyah Brunny 6'1" | PF Parkersburg Catholic | 2021 State WV – Parkersburg Catholic – 2021 – Forward
Fairmont State signee Aaliyah Brunny Aaliyah Brunny 6'1" | PF Parkersburg Catholic | 2021 State WV used her size advantage to help Parkersburg Catholic get into the championship. Brunny averaged 13.3 points per game and had many great effort plays crashing the glass and getting takeaways.
Abby Russell Abby Russell 5'5" | CG Wyoming East | 2023 State WV – Wyoming East – 2023 – Guard
A silent but sneaky player… Abby Russell Abby Russell 5'5" | CG Wyoming East | 2023 State WV of Wyoming East has a motor and aggression for the Warriors. Russell showed off her grit on the defensive end giving opposing offenses multiple problems. She also had her mid-range game going all tournament hitting key baskets for Wyoming East.
Daisha Summers Daisha Summers 5'11" | PF Wyoming East | 2022 State WV – Wyoming East – 2022 – Forward
Daisha Summers Daisha Summers 5'11" | PF Wyoming East | 2022 State WV , one of the athletic stretch forwards in West Virginia showed off her athleticism in her three games. Summers put in a lot of second chance points and her length pressured offenses decisions. Summers averaged 11.3 points in route to the “AA” State Championship.
