Aaliyah Riley I 5’7 Guard I 2024I Cy Select
Riley bought a different energy on the defensive end. Showed her ability to guard her opponents 94 feet with no help. Never seems to get tired as she also ran the point guard position. Uses her speed and athleticism to defend. High motor.
Terrielle Clark I5’7 Guard I 2024I FBC Nightmares Teal
Clark showed her ability to shoot the passing lanes all weekend. She uses her length and speed to stop her opponents from scoring. Clark’s defense led to a lot easy baskets for her and her teammates. Works to get the 50/50 balls.
Avree Antony I 5’10 Guard I 2023 I Let It Rain Black
Antony length gave some of the smaller guards problems on the perimeter. Knows how to move her feet to get in position to keep her opponents from attacking the paint. She is the motor that gets her team going.
Kiana Wilson I 5’8 Guard I 2022 I FBC Nightmares
Wilson showed her athleticism and speed on the defensive end this past weekend. Wilson got her hands on plenty of steals which led to easy baskets. Can press up full court and turn her defenders into traps. Always looking to get out in the passing lanes.
Alindria Dudley I 5’5 Guard I 2023 I FBC Nightmares Teal
Dudley is the energizer bunny on defense. Never seems to get tired. Uses her speed to beat her opponents to the next spot. She had the assignment to guard some of the best scorers over the weekend. High motor and High Energy.
Paige Lambe I 6’1 Post I 2023 I Let it Rain Black
Paige used her length to block and deter a lot of shots in the paint. Moves her feet well to keep her opponents in front of her. Played great post defense. Can guard inside out.
Jessy Vanderwerff I 5’7 Guard I 2023 I SD Attack
Vanderwerff showed us not only can she shoot but she can also defend as well. Knows how to use her speed to keep her defenders in front. Always in the right spots on defense. Her defense fuels her team.
Taylor Moreau I 5’8 Guard I 2023 I Let it Rain Black
Moreau is a workhorse on both ends of the floor. However her defensive skills stood out over the weekend. All out hustle and skill to defend led to some easy baskets for her teammates. Knows how to get through screens and guard multiple positions. Definitely a player to watch this summer.
Kalayia Johnson I 5’9 Guard I 2023 I Team Griffin
Johnson caught my eye with her post defense on the taller players. Knows how to use her body to defend the post but can guard the perimeter. Moves her feet very well on defense and knows how to beat her opponent to the next spot. Always active in the passing lanes. High IQ defender that never gets tired.
Kiana Wiley I 5’8 Guard I 2023 I Nebraska Attack GUAA
Wiley’s best move is to defend full court. Very athletic and quick defender. Knows how to read the passing lanes and turn her defenders. Communicates well on defense. Does the little things that may not show up on the stat sheet.
