Add this to the fact that they are the youngest participants in the high school basketball scene. Nonetheless, we have a steadily growing class of 2024 watch list that I will continue to work on over time. Below are just four of the 2024 class members that I am excited to track this Spring.
Devin Coppinger Devin Coppinger 5'10" | CG Nooksack Valley | 2024 State WA – Tree of Hope
One of the top rising 2024 prospects in the state. Coppinger already has a translatable quality to the next level and that is her outstanding motor. She always plays hard and it has translated to her playing against competition 3 years older than her. She can slash and make plays attacking the basket standing around 5’10.
Maya Davis Maya Davis 5'10" | SF Garfield | 2024 State WA – FBC Northwest
Standing 5’10, Davis is one of the strongest wing players around. She is comfortable attacking the basket going either direction and she can create her own shot. On the defensive end, Davis is a high level rebounder and can push the break by herself. It will be fun to watch her continued development and growth.
Teagan Colvin – NW Blazers
The 5’7 point guard has steadily made a name for herself over the last couple years and it is unfortunate we did not get to see her play high school ball in her freshman season. Colvin was still able to make a splash this Spring by having a great UAA session 1 playing in the 16u Division.
Lucy Larson Lucy Larson 5'10" | PG West Seattle | 2024 State WA – FBC Northwest
The 5’10 lefty combo guard is another top rising guard in the state already having some Division 1 interest. Larson can create her own shot and make plays off the bounce. When she gets rolling, she is tough to stop hitting the outside shot or midrange jumper. A prospect to track in the 2024 class. *Feature image
