Chance Gray Chance Gray 5'9" | PG Winton Woods | 2022 State #40 Nation OH – Class of 2022 – Sports City U 17U
Gray has long been considered one of the state’s top guards – however, after her performance in Indiana, she has made the argument to be the TOP guard in Ohio. Chance has a silky-smooth stroke that extends well-beyond the 3-point line. She can also score off of the dribble with ease and is a more-than-willing defender for Sports City U – who could be the country’s best team. Gray is being courted by some of the nation’s top college programs.
Kiley Dyrlund Kiley Dyrlund 5'11" | PF Uniontown Lake | 2022 State OH – Class of 2022 – Buckeye State Blast Black
Dyrlund drew attention from a number of the college coaches in attendance, due to her ability to guard all 5 positions on the floor – causing havoc by getting deflections, playing passing lanes, contesting shots and blocking shots. Offensively – she plays in the point forward mold – more comfortable as a slasher getting into the paint and creating for herself and her teammates. At nearly 6’0 tall, she is tremendous perimeter prospect for the next level.
KK Bransford KK Bransford 5'11" | PG Mount Notre Dame | 2022 State #6 Nation OH – Class of 2022 – Cincinnati Angels
By now – if you don’t know who KK Bransford KK Bransford 5'11" | PG Mount Notre Dame | 2022 State #6 Nation OH is, you haven’t been paying attention. The Mount Notre Dame standout is absolutely relentless on both ends of the floor. One of the nation’s top players – Bransford plays with a motor that is typically unmatched. She is an elite rebounder – but also possesses a rare combination of court vision and finishing ability to go with her special physical tools. KK is such a winner – it was almost shocking to see her team lose a game in the tournament semis.
Kylie Leibacher Kylie Leibacher 5'11" | SF Castalia Margaretta | 2023 State OH – Class of 2023 – Buckeye State Blast Royal
Leibacher was undoubtedly one of the weekend’s leading scorers and rebounders. The Northwest Ohio standout – who has high interest from a dozen mid-majors in the midwest and on the east coast – scored at will in the paint with both hands on drives, post-ups and offensive rebounds. Kylie also flashed the ability to step out and knock down the 3 in catch-and-shoot situations. She is much stronger physically than most other wing prospects in her class.
Sinai Douglas Sinai Douglas 5'7" | PG Toledo Start | 2024 State OH – Class of 2024 – Sports City U 15U
Douglas is an explosive scorer with an attack-first mindset. She has a quick first step on the catch an is very tough to stop in transition as she has a number of different finishing moves with both hands. Sinai can defend with pressure 90 feet and has the strength and footwork to successfully guard different types of perimeter players in the half court, as well.
Ava Wilkerson – Class of 2023 – Capital City Comets
Wilkerson is a solid combo-guard with flashy handles and a tremendous jumper. Her ability to anticipate a teammate being open – before others see it – is fun to watch. Ava adds the passing ability to actually deliver the ball in places where her teammates can easily score it. She displays a lot of intangibles that a coach would love the leader of their basketball team to have.
Ashley Kerekes Ashley Kerekes 5'10" | PF Copley | 2023 State OH – Class of 2023 – Buckeye State Blast Scarlet
A long and athletic “4” prospect – Kerekes runs the floor like a deer, making her very tough for opposing 4/5’s to guard throughout the course of a game. She is a very good rebounder – who gets off of the ground and pursues long misses well, on both ends. Ashley even flashed the ability to knock down the 3 if open. She is a legit threat off of the dribble from anywhere in the half-court – with a long stride and the ability to score going both ways.
