To see our earlier article, follow the link here. Below are more players that are shining and playing some of their best basketball right now.
2022 5’11 SF Halle Wright from Prosser High School torched East Valley High School for 27 points in a win. Wright is an under the radar player with some athleticism and length from the wing position. She is a quality rebounder, shot blocker and runs the floor well. Look for her to continue to get better with time.
2021 6’2 PF Katie Thiers Katie Thiers 6'2" | C Roosevelt | 2021 State WA is already signed to Princeton University, but she is still putting up some dominant numbers in the Metro League. Thiers posted 27 points and 18 rebounds in Roosevelt’s win over Bishop Blanchet. Thiers is a strong post with great hands and good mobility up and down the court. She will be a great fit at Princeton.
2021 5’8 G Joclyen Wyatt Joclyen Wyatt 5'8" | PG Wilson | 2021 State WA had a career night for Lincoln High School out of Tacoma. The ultra aggressive guard went off for 40 points to go along with 7 assists and 6 steals. Wyatt is headed to the University of Denver for her college ball.
2022 5’11 SF Tatum Thompson Tatum Thompson 6'0" | SF Woodinville | 2022 State WA continues to blossom for Woodinville High School in her shortened junior season. Thompson posted a triple double with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in a win for the Lady Falcons. She is one of the top underrated players in the state, but Division 1 schools know about her and should be on her at an increasing rate.
