Continue ReadingIvy Johnson – (5’10/SF/2023) – AAO Flight 2022 – Bentonville West (Arkansas) – Ivy has an aggressive and intensity about her and the way she plays. She will get in your face defensively and give the offensively player as less room to operate as possible. She absolutely battled for rebounds and fought for loose balls. Her whole game is built off of tenacity and she goes off-the-dribble with that same type of mind-set.
Julieth Rivera – (5’6/PG/2022) – AAO Flight 2022 – Providence Academy (Arkansas) – Julieth is a very skilled prospect with the ball. You can tell she’s worked a lot on her game. Even though she’s highly skilled, she plays with a toughness as well. She gets after the opposing point guard with heavy ball pressure. Very skilled with her handles and also a highly skilled passer that is great at finding the open player. She can make some fancy one-handed passes.
Sierra Kemelgor Sierra Kemelgor 5'8" | CG South Oldham | 2022 State KY – (5’9/SG/2022) – EAB Tennessee 2022 – South Oldham (Kentucky) – Sierra is a do-it-all wing prospect that can score the ball effectively. Shoots the three well and can go strong to the rack. What I liked most about Sierra’s game is that every move she makes is for a purpose and she doesn’t try to make flashy plays just to make a flashy play. Just gets the job done. Sierra is a solid prospect as she’s rated #47 in the state of Kentucky by PGH Kentucky.
Ari Howard (5’5/CG/2022) – EAB Tennessee 2022 – Giles County (Tennessee) – Ari’s best asset is her athleticism and movement. Moves on the court with ease, allowing her to be a steady playmaker. A play I remember is her making an on-ball steal then quickly turning it into a bucket on the other end. Has some solid ball-handling moves and can explode with the ball.
Katelyn Coleman – (5’9/PG/2022) – Mississippi Delta Elite 2022 – McEvans – (Mississippi) – Katelyn is a highly explosive point guard with some solid length to her. She’s able to smoothly glide off of high ball-screens and effortlessly get to the hoop. Has great effortless quickness, while still having good ball control. Breaks down the defender, then attacks to get into the lame. Great jumping ability, as I saw her get up and block a 6’3 opponent.
Kimbreyah Rose – (6’1/PF-C/2023) – Mississippi Delta Elite- McEvans (Mississippi) – Kimbreyah is a super lengthy 6’1 rim protector and shot-blocker. Great verticality, giving her some solid upside. This may be her greatest skill — her jumping ability. Allows her to get up above the competition to snag rebounds.
Gracie Hearon – (6’0/C/2022) – Team Ambition – Oak Ridge (Tennessee) – Gracie is a true interior post with a strong build that is hard to move. She uses her strength and body well to get deep in the paint. She was one of the better interior scorers at the event because she uses her strength and power so well. Highly efficient at finishing near the hoop. A solid rebounder that rips down rebounds and secures them with strength, securely getting the ball to her ball-handlers.
Morgon Webb Morgon Webb 5'8" | CG Knoxville Central | 2021 State TN – (5’7/SG/2021) – Team Ambition – First Baptist Academy (Tennessee) – Morgan is solid and aware on both ends. Has a great shot that goes out to three, where you can’t leave her unguarded. A smooth release she has. She will fight for loose balls and attack rebounds in the air. Really wants the ball and goes after it. Morgon is a 2021 prospect that is ranked #54 in Tennessee.
Braylee Woods – (5’7/SG/2022) – Team Ambition – South Greene (Tennessee) – Braylee is similar to Morgon, in that she’s very solid and her court awareness is at a high level. She understands where the ball is at all times. Plays excellent help defense for her teammates. Has a solid base to her offensively, giving her an accurate shooting release.
Maliyah Martin – (5’7/CG/2021) – Team Ambition – Kingston (Tennessee) – Maliyah has a toughness and confidence about her on the court. She plays with no fear of her opportunities or her individual matchup — on both ends. She handles the ball with control and will go strong at the defense. Passes well and can make advanced-level passes.
