Paityn Islom – (5’5/PG/2024) – Overtime Performance 2024-1 – Paityn is a consistent playmaker throughout the course of a game. She’s always in attack-mode and can get to the hoop and also fire it up from three. She was tough to contain given her complete offensive ability. Has some good overall quickness and agility, separating her from others. A competitor on the defensive side of the ball.
Kayla Day – (5’8/PG/2024) – Southern Sky Elite 2022 – Kayla might be the headliner of this group from a size/athleticism perspective at the point guard position. A point guard with skills, speed, and agility in the open court. She slices through the opposing defense. Has legitimate ball-handling moves and skill, with an effective and quick crossover. Can perform a between the legs back-peddling move to create separation. An elite finisher in transition and in traffic.
Anna Imbo – (5’5/CG/2024) – AAO FlIght 2024 – Anna is a combo guard that has the ball in her hands often and plays with energy and is constantly putting pressure on the defense. Goes to the hoop and will pull jumpers.
Ava Riley – (5’5/PG/2024) – Southern Sky Elite 2024 – Ava is the point guard leader for Southern Sky Elite 2024. She is great at finding open teammates and gets the team to move the ball around. Has great handles and a poise and confidence to her game. Has a good looking three point release that is accurate. If she’s getting pressured, she will go by the defender and get into the lane. A true point guard facilitator that cannot be left unguarded either. A complete point guard.
Paige Medley – (5’5/CG/2024) – Team First Step 2024 – Paige is a skilled offensive prospect. Not an explosive athlete but her ball skills and shooting ability make her standout and allows her to score well. Her handles were probably tops in the tournament and she’s only a 2024. She had that much command with the ball. Paige is one to watch as a high-end legitimate prospect.
Second Team All-Tournament Team
Jonilyah Chambers – (5’7/SG/2024) – Dayton Metro 2024 – Jonilyah has a strong and steady build to her. A great athlete that moves with speed and power. A big guard that is a slasher and can get up and down the court in a hurry while handling the ball. Can make a lighting-quick move with the ball and explode to the hoop, blowing by the defense.
Myla Browning – (5’8/SG/2025) – S.W.I.S.H. City 2024 Jones – Myla was missed on the 14U team, so she was put on here, where she’s very deserving as well. She was getting to the hoop easily with her quick first-step and lengthy, long strides. Finishes well when she gets there too. Myla is a prospect to watch for college programs of all sorts because she has some solid upside with her skills, athletic, and long frame.
Honna Brown – (5’10/PF/2024) – Southeast Dynasty 2024 – Honna is a strong, bruising power forward, with good finishing ability. A strong rebounder and the toughness of the Southeast Dynasty 2024 team.
Avery Wilson – (5’10/SF/2024) – Overtime Performance 2024-1
Kiyah Baker – (5’10/PF-C/2024) – Dayton Metro 2024
