The size, athleticism, and length really stood out at this event. There are so many prospects to mention that there should be a good amount of content for our audience/subscribers! This should be a fun one! We’ll examine some top performers below, that will become a series of posts in the coming days.
Ashton Judd Ashton Judd 5'11" | SF West Plains | 2022 State MO – (6’0/SG-Wing/2022) – Assassins 2022 – West Plains (Missouri) – Shown in the featured photo, Ashton came out of the gates ready to dominate and showcase herself. She did just that, scoring 28 points in game one. Scoring 28 points in these shortened games is getting it done — and quickly. Followed that up with a 22 point performance. She was the headliner of the 2022 class, with a rare blend of size, power, and speed to go along with her skills, shooting ability, and finishing ability. PGH Missouri has her ranked as the #13 2022 prospect in the state, so we’re talking about a high caliber prospect. Translates into a big/long shooting guard/wing.

- 5’11-6’0 with wingspan length
- Great passing ability and court vision
- Uses left hand well when handling the ball
- Goes hard off-the-dribble

- Good defensive positioning on and off-ball
- Uses athleticism to play passing lanes
- Defensive playmaker
- High motor and effort

- Attacks the ball in the air for rebounds

Jadie Hines – (6’3/C/2023) – AKYB Academy 2022 Elite – Fordyce (Arkansas) – Jadie is a big-bodied 6’3 center that had 18 and 20 point performances day one. She was a matchup problem because she couldn’t be moved off of her spot down-low in the painted area. She was getting near-hoop looks consistently.

- Uses strength and body well
- High percentage inside finishing
- + offensive rebounder
- Boxes out
- + shot blocking
- + rim protector
- Pushes defenders around with her body
Natalya Kaza – (5’8/SG/2022) – B&B Heat 2022 – Pulaski Academy (Arkansas) – Natalya doesn’t jump out at you from a size, length, and athleticism standpoint but she’s an effective players and scorer, with a 25 point game day one. Had a knack for drawing fouls and getting to the line, where she has a smooth and beautiful stroke. A smart and heady player on both ends and it allows her to be highly effective.

Shelby Still – (5’10/SF/2024) – AAO Flight 2024 – Gentry (Arkansas) – Recognized for her 14 point game, Shelby is a wing with some solid size to her. She played on the perimeter and was posting up smaller defenders for easy inside buckets off-the-glass. Also, was finishing in the lane off-the-dribble going to both her left and right hand. Shelby isn’t overly flashy or athletic but uses her body well to score, rebound, and has good size for a 2024 prospect.

- Surprising first-step quickness
Lauren Hassel – (6’1/Wing/2027) – Tennessee Sol 2024 United – Clarksville Christian School (Tennessee) – Lauren, The 2027 prospect has extreme upside! At a long 6’1 frame with athletic ability. Blocking shots defensively and making playmaking passes to her teammates. Overall, Lauren has an impressive combination of youth, length, skill, athleticism, all equating to one of the prospects with the best upsides and basketball futures in the entire event.
