She has an heir of success and stardom that she carries with her at a young age. Bonner is a talent that warrants high majors taking a look at this Recruiting Report. Let’s take a look at her game and her recruitment.
NAME
Na’Kiya Bonner
GRADUATION YEAR
2024
POSITION
Point Guard
HIGH SCHOOL
Detroit Edison ( DEPSA)
GRASSROOTS
Michigan Crossover Nike EYBL
STRENGTHS
– Ball handling – This is almost more than a strength, if that’s possible. Bonner can send defenders flailing for a ball that’s not even there.
– Creating shots for others – Bonner does a nice job drawing defenders and never losing touch with where her teammates are at.
– Speed – She has nice straight line speed and, with good hip movement, can get bursts of speed laterally as well.
– Shooting off the dribble – Bonner can stop on a dime and pull up at any time.
– Mental game – This is what I really like about her game. The physical tools are all there, but Bonner has it upstairs as well. She has that superstar and championship aura that surrounds her in the gym.
AREA FOR IMPROVEMENT
– On ball defense – not gambling quite as much
ULTIMATE GOALS

WHAT SHE’S LOOKING FOR IN A SCHOOL / PROGRAM AT THE NEXT LEVEL
“Just looking for the right fit, style of play, and family atmosphere.” – Na’Kiya Bonner
RECRUITMENT
Bonner’s recruitment is open, and trust me, schools will want to get started ASAP with this young lady. She has all the tools to be a huge addition to any program.
I just received offers from Oakland University and the University of Nebraska Omaha. And last year I got offers from the University of North Dakota, University of Toledo, and last but not least, Georgia Southern University. So I have a total of 5 Division 1 offers.” – Na’Kiya Bonner
