Texas is huge, I hate when people send me stuff saying “you need to see such and such” no that makes absolutely no sense “you need to be where I am” and if you click on EVENTS on my website, you’ll know where I am so here are some players entering HS that you’ll be hearing about down the road
2025
Angela Carroll-6’0 PF Waco United
Carroll is on the verge of something big, yeah she stands at “the magic number” which is 6’0 for those who don’t pay attention, and just watching her agility with her “college-ready body” before she enters high school is just intriguing. She’s going after the ball harder off the rim, on both ends and showed she could finish with both hands, that’s pretty big, so is her raining the floor after rebounding, on both ends and defending inside the paint as well as outside of it, HUGE upside
Jermarrianna Daniel-5’4 G (LaVega HS) Waco United
Daniel just left me beaming ear to ear because she just took it to another level. Her ability to create in the 1 on 1 drill set the tone, that first step is going to give defenders some problems, especially when you factor in she also can create her shot in-game situation and the pull-up jumper definitely will be a threat because she can get it off with ease with a hand in her face
Solange Loadholt-5’8 SF (LaVega HS) Waco United
Loadholt understands how to get the most out of her athleticism and watching her pressure defense, baseline to baseline, on the ball, was enough right there because she forces turnovers and that is something you can’t teach and will be very big throughout her career. She also attacked the rim from either side and finished strongly after contact so that, and solid ball-handling all looked good
Alaysia Gude-5’7 CG Waco United
Gude continues to elevate her game like she elevates to the rim and keep in mind she’s “long and athletic” and yeah her first step is good but when she adds the “turbo” just get back and defend because her strides are long, her jumper is getting better and better and dropping deeper and deeper yet her passes, on the money, using either hand from 20 feet away is going to have her in the triple-double territory because she also rebounds. Good defender and plays within herself
Hope Edwards-5’5 PG (Leander HS) Centex
Edwards was spotted by me with another squad yet “no roster” so I kept it moving, that’s how I roll yet she kept it moving and showed me I should’ve asked, that’s how she rolls because she’s explosive, in fact, one of the most explosive scorers at the camp, in either session. Her jumper is nice, she has a stop and pop going full speed yet she also attacks the rim strongly and contact doesn’t matter as she can finish with either hand
Niyah Waters-5’9 SG (Hendrickson) Competitive Edge
Waters has already grabbed the #D1Lock from me, people have their views on me calling it quickly however just because you can’t do it, don’t hate which applies to her defying gravity and dropping the jumper after players go by her or the lay-up because her body control is ahead of her years, she does things smoothly and effortlessly which is scary because she too is long and athletic and she plays the passing lane
Sadie Sanchez-5’4 PG Hoop 10 United
Sanchez was a HUGE pleasant surprise, she just gets it and understands something valuable, how to put the ball in the basket and when you can score multiple ways as well as see the floor as efficiently as she does, that is pretty good heading into high school because with her ballhandling and court vision, she’s getting teammates easy baskets yet her mid to long-range as well as her attacking and finishing all stood out
