Over the course of this next week, we will examine numerous players that have great potential to see their stock rise with their on court play, recruitment and/or ranking.
Alyssa Smith Alyssa Smith 5'10" | SF Bethel | 2023 State WA (Bethel HS)
The 5’10 small forward out of Bethel High School had been away from the on court hoop scene for over a year with a knee injury, but I am hearing that she will be back on the court competing this Summer. Smith comes in with a chip on her shoulder after having such a strong start to her freshman season. Her strength, work ethic and fearless style of play at 5’10 will be on display this Summer and we will be tracking how she progresses again now that she is healthy.
Ella Kaleta Ella Kaleta 5'10" | CG Bothell | 2023 WA (Way to Win – Bothell HS)
This 5’9 guard is one of the more skilled offensive players in the greater Seattle area and has good shooting ability from the three line. Kaleta has grown some over the last year and put together some solid showings for Bothell High School. I expect her to have a good Summer with Way to Win.
Rylee Leishman Rylee Leishman 5'7" | CG Ellensburg | 2023 State WA (NW Blazers – Ellensburg HS)
Easily one of the state’s top catch and shoot three point shooters at 5’7. Leishman is a team ball player, but her best asset is her shooting ability. When she has open looks, it looks like it is going in nine times out of 10. If she can get open looks, the Ellensburg High School standout could have a strong July with the Northwest Blazers.
Naomi Hotchkiss Naomi Hotchkiss 6'4" | C Puyallup | 2023 WA (FBC – Puyallup HS)
The 6’4 center has started to garner more Division 1 attention and has a growing college following despite still being newer to the sport. Hotchkiss has great size and mobility and some footwork in the post. Every bit of court time and reps are to her advantage as she works to put it all together. She will run with the FBC Northwest Savages this July.
