This event featured some of the most talented girls in the country which includes lots of girls ranked in the top 100 of ESPN’s top 100! Any time Dan Olsen is in the building you know the talent is there. You had representation from all major shoe circuits. I want to give a big shout-out to the Team Takeover they were the only EYBL team in attendance and they play some tough teams. They played the best team there which was FBC United 2022 who are loaded. This is should be the future of travel basketball at least one tournament with everybody please each other from different shoe circuits just to compete! Speaking of compete our Virginia kids put up some good numbers versus some good competition in here they are!
Kymora Johnson Kymora Johnson 5'8" | CG St. Anne's Belfield | 2023 State VA 5’8 CG 2023 WV Thunder UUA
The 33 ranked player on ESPN’s top 100 list in the 2023 class did not disappoint. She a natural when it comes to playing basketball. She always plays at a high-level high IQ and also plays with a smile on her face. She lead her team to a 4-1 record only lost coming to powerhouse FBC she lead her team with 16 against some elite players!
Erin Woodson 5’9 SG 2023 Havoc at Rockit
Her team made their insider exposure debut and Erin lead the way! This smooth-shooting guard is as consistent as they get! She lead her team in scoring 4 out of 5 games and the game she didn’t lead her team in scoring she posted 23 points. This kid is good nothing fancy all she does is lead and score!
Nylah Wilson 5’7 CG 2025 VA Havoc
The VA Havoc program has some talented guards coming up the pipeline and Nylah is one of them. Already in the eighth grade, she is an elite defender she has the ability to create offense with her defense. She scored 20 plus points 4 times this weekend! Great athleticism allow her to weave through traffic to get easy layups. She’s definitely in the perfect place where she can play in develop and get better can’t wait to see her in a couple of years.
Grace Pack Grace Pack 6'3" | PF TPLS Christian Academy | 2022 State VA 6’3 PF 2022 Lady Phoenix United
This weekend Grace had to bang with some big girls this tournament! She stands at 6’3 but going against 6’5 kids consistently this weekend was a big test. She is no stranger going against bigger opponents in high school in her sophomore year she scored 10 points versus 6’7 Kamilla Cardoso who is now at South Carolina. This weekend she scored consistently but most importantly she had to be a defense stopper and she stepped up to the plate definitely a good showing on both ends of the court!
Syvannah Dawson 5’4 PG 2026 VA Havoc
She’s a rising star in this young Havoc program. This small guard can score at will but is a true point guard 1st. This year at insider exposure she had played 12 games she lead her team in scoring 9 of them including a 29 point game this weekend. So young and still getting better it’s a perfect fit for her to grow!
Faith Henderson 5’10 2022 SG/WHavoc at Rockit
It definitely was a step up in competition for her team and Faith but they answered the call! Faith played a big role to help get her team to the championship game! In the semifinal game, they were in the back-and-forth battle and she stepped up with 25 big points to pull away late this prospect is developing nicely with a strong July she will get a lot more coaches’ attention!
Zoey Adams 6 W 2024 FBC Carolina Elite Kent
The long athletic wing has a good upside. She already has a collage frame and is a good defender. Can handle the ball consistently and has a pretty nice jump shot! She plays on a loaded FBC Carolina team still was able to put up 13 points in the first game definitely keep my eye on her!
Ella Weaver 6’ G 2023 WV Thunder UUA16U
Really good showing for Ella this weekend! This is her first year with this program but it seems like she’s been there longer. She’s a big part of the thunders offense she lead the team in scoring three out of the five times and they ended up in the championship game and won at all. recruiting definitely should pick up for this kid her development has been awesome.
