The top five players in the class are all going to shape the future of the schools they choose. Each one is expected to play a significant role at their new home and each will have a promising career at the next level and beyond. Here’s our top three and our thoughts on them.
Emma NuQuay Emma NuQuay 5'9" | PG Elizabeth Seton | 2025 State MD – 5’9″ – Point Guard – #1
Emma is the complete point guard. She is smart and very crafty. She plays under control and seems as if the game slows down for her. Emma has excellent vision on the court and her passes are strong and on point. She finishes well after contact and can get physical with smaller guards.
Zhen Craft Zhen Craft 6'2" | SF Bishop McNamara | 2025 State MD – 6’1″ – Wing – #2
Zhen is on track for all-American accolades in four years and could possibly end up as the nation’s top player. She is extremely veratile as she handles the ball with point guard skill and she attacks from the wing with only one or two bounces. She can rebound and attack full court in transition and has the length and skill to play with her back to the basket. She can defend every position on the floor.
Princess Moody Princess Moody 5'8" | CG Bishop McNamara | 2025 State MD – 5’7″ – Combo Guard #3
P
Princess is a scoring guard that can play both guard positions. She is very athletic and has a quick first step. She is hard to keep her in contained without help and she makes plays on both ends.
Caliyah DeVillasee Caliyah DeVillasee 5'7" | PG Our Lady Of Good Counsel | 2025 State MD – 5’6″ – Point Guard – #4
Caliyah is the most exicting player to watch out of the three. She has an excellent handle and a full bag of tricks to go with it. She is a big fan of the no-look pass and will take an extra dribble or two to add a little flavor to the play. She seems to have fun on the court and will take her foot off the gas at times, however, even playing at 80% she will be better than 80% of the players on the floor.
Meghan Yarnevich Meghan Yarnevich 6'2" | C Bullis | 2025 State MD – 6’2″ – Post #5
Meghan has a college body and is a good rebounder. She finishes well and can dribble well enough to start the break. She catches and keeps the ball high in the paint and passes well from the high post. She can be dominant inside when fed the ball enough and is smart enough to move the ball around when double teamed.
